Rustic Australian Farm Wedding

January 24, 2016 | Junebug Weddings

Rustic-Australian-Farm-Wedding (18 of 32)

Creating a day that was truly special, Chris and Helen chose Helen’s family farm in Australia for their wedding venue. Navy napkins, burlap table runners, and rustic touches blended perfectly to produce their elegant farm wedding. We absolutely love the unique florals that made up the bride’s gorgeous bouquet. The Stag & Doe captured incredible images of the couple enjoying their special day!

From the bride: Our friend and groomsman made a wooden arch for inside the church that I grew up in. It was decorated with flowers and was absolutely beautiful!

From the bride: We chose navy as our wedding color. I’ve always loved navy and think it’s an elegant colour that goes with lots of things. We also had brown (rustic) invites. I love this look, and it fitted the farm setting.

Glamorous Colorado Wedding at Strawberry Creek Ranch

January 24, 2016 | Junebug Weddings

In planning their wedding, Kelsey and Stephen wanted to create an event that represented their love for the mountains and decided to give their celebrants grandeur views of the rolling Rocky Mountains. Many of their guests traveled from out of state, so personalizing the wedding was very important to the couple. Kelsey and Stephen wrote their own vows and only included parts of the traditional ceremony that meant something to them. With the help of Rami Carter of Pick Me Weddings, the color palette — indigo, gray, black, champagne, gold and silver — combined effortlessly with Strawberry Creek Ranch in Granby, Colorado, creating the perfect atmosphere for the romantic wedding. Mallory Munson Photography beautifully captured the couple on their big day.

From the bride: My dress, “Dori” by Hayley Paige was Alabaster in color and accents of that were weaved throughout in customized chapsticks, koozies, and my bouquets ribbon wrap. The table linens were double layered with white rounds and an indigo overlay, complimenting that were gold chargers and mercury glass pillars and those lush white blooms.

Advice from the bride: A week before our wedding, my engagement ring and wedding band were lost in the mail! They have still never been recovered and we are in the process of getting a new one made. Things will pop up and surprise you for sure, but remember the most important thing is that you are focused on the commitment you are making to the one you love. Spend a few moments of time together and enjoy the day. We enjoyed ourselves and each other while taking portraits after the ceremony, running around just us (and the photographers). We also had a bridesmaid sing karaoke, which we did not have karaoke at the wedding, but we went with it and it was hilarious none the less.

Vintage Industrial Chicago Wedding at Salvage One

January 23, 2016 | Junebug Weddings

Vintage-Industrial-Chicago-Wedding-at-Salvage-One (14 of 33)

Amanda and Alex included their entire family in the wedding process, making it just that much more special. The bride’s mother created all of the bouquets and centerpieces, and her cousin designed all of the printed materials–invitations, Save the Dates, programs. With a color palette of rose, gold, and cream, the wedding design perfectly accentuated the vintage character of Salvage One in Chicago, Illinois. Rachel Gulotta Photography documented the gorgeous details at this one-of-a-kind wedding.

From the bride: I wanted to work with people who created beautiful, simple, and elegant things. I’m a writer so it was important to me to support Chicago-based artists like Rachel and Daniel, who are doing such great work. I also was so happy to work with Yolanda Trejo, who has been my hair stylist and fashion icon for about eight years now, and who also just opened her own salon, yo:u, in Chicago.

From the bride: We just fell in love with Salvage One. I felt like we were in a magical place and we didn’t want to ever leave. It has so many weird and amazing elements–it felt like we were on a set. It was perfect for the wedding, and of course, for the photos.
