Wanting a beautiful scenic backdrop and a small intimate setting with their immediate family, Samantha and Chase chose Salish Lodge for their Pacific Northwest wedding. With overlooks of the grand Snoqualmie River, Salish Lodge offers couples natural outdoor settings and a celebration room inside a rustic lodge, so it’s no wonder that Samantha and Chase fell in love with it when planning their wedding. We think photographer David Cho did a fantastic job capturing these two Austin natives’ wedding, and the jewel-toned floral arrangements and boho vibe nicely complemented the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

We are from Austin, and we wanted a destination wedding somewhere in the Northwest, and with a little searching I stumbled across Salish Lodge and Snoqualmie falls. When we went to visit and scope out the location we fell in love with it and knew this is where we wanted to get married.

The most memorable part of the day was after I was fully dressed, and I got to go see Samantha in her wedding dress for our first look. I was tearing up and awe struck. I couldn’t believe I was getting to marry the girl of my dreams.

David was a phenomenal photographer! I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to capture our special day; he has a unique style of shooting that I admire. He was extremely enthused and wanted to get the best possible shots, no matter what it took.

I wanted something simple, and with such a beautiful natural setting, I felt a lot of decorations weren’t needed. So I wanted to add a bright pop with some jewel tone florals with a bit of a boho vibe.
