Danielle and Trevor’s British Colombia summer wedding was filled with stunning handmade details and an al fresco flair! Inspired by their backpacking trip through Tuscany, the couple kept things personal, breezy, and full of fresh garden flowers. Luke Liable Photography was there to capture every stunning candid moment between the couple. We are so in love with the gorgeous farm tables the bride’s father constructed for the reception, as well as the ceremony arch that he built for the church-house ceremony. The couple’s Tuscan vision came through beautifully in garden-fresh shades of blush, cream, and sage.

My favourite parts of my ensemble were my flower crown (to tie into the garden feel) and my long flowing skirt. It was so important I be able to swing dance in my dress! My girls wore floor length gowns in taupe, mauve, blush and cream.

It was the hottest summer on record and we were surprised to wake up to rain! Luckily it cleared up by the time the ceremony started.

I grew up in a neighbourhood near to the Clayburn church and was always romanced by its historic bell, steeple and brick.

Brambles Bistro is our favourite brunch spot, the place we had breakfast on the day Trevor proposed, and the property of his best man’s family. I wanted spaces that were naturally beautiful and didn’t require much decor.

My Dad handmade eighteen collapseable farm tables (which he now rents as “Woodpecker”) as well as wooden centrepieces which my mom planted with succulents.

I wanted a romantic, summer garden vibe, inspired by some of the al fresco dining Trevor and I enjoyed in Tuscany during our backpacktrip though Europe.

Every single moment was so special, the day was just filled with all my favourite things. The most memorable parts were our first dance (we met swing dancing), our first look, and the vows!
