Anna and Price’s warm and earthy wedding theme in Virginia reflected the warmth radiating throughout their outdoor bohemian ceremony. The couple married on family land that was completely untouched before the wedding. We loved hearing how the bride and groom landscaped for eight months to create their ideal venue. All of the furniture and décor was thrifted by the adventurous couple and the silverware was hand painted painted to embody the warm gold and copper tones. Davin Lindwall captured the emotional and heartfelt family moments, while videographers Revel Weddings caught the surrounding wilderness and dreamy setup of this woodsy wedding.

We felt like everything was very “us”. We wanted it to be very family oriented so both of my brothers & my dad were officiants. All of our nieces and nephews walked down the aisle. We pulled bits & pieces of vows we loved to create our own, all of the decor was thrifted.
I’ve always loved the bohemian style and so I knew that was what I was going for with the wedding attire. I actually found my dress at Church Street Bridal in Lynchburg, VA. It’s a ministry where all proceeds go towards helping victims of domestic violence. There I was able to find my dream Pnina Tornai designer dress for $500.
My dad built the structure/chapel we were married under in just a few months, along with a stand alone, outdoor fireplace, with stone from our creek. The land was 100 percent unmanicured so we spent about 8 months landscaping. Our flowers were from a local flower farm, where you pay $10 per bucket, so we spent the day before the wedding picking flowers and making our own bouquets. We built 100 benches (seating two people per bench).
Hands down, my favorite photo was when you could see the back of my veil and my husbands expression when I walked down the aisle. It takes me right back to that moment and brings back all the feels.
We gave out succulents as wedding favors! We just love plants and having an outdoor wedding just kind of called for succulents.
I really wanted copper silverware but with 200 guests, it was quite expensive so we spent days spray painting our silverware handles copper.
Processional & recessional song- Instrumental, Noah & The Whale, First Days of Spring
First dance – Ryan Adams, Wonderwall
Father daughter dance- Louis Armstrong, What a Wonderful World
Our wedding was a long time coming… ten years in the making so I would say, when we walked back up the aisle and had everyone we loved celebrating us and throwing flower petals and lavender at us and then getting a moment to just be together and soak up a totally surreal moment.

Wow! This entire set gave me nothing but good feels :-) I’m more of an light and airy photographer.. but JEEZ! This moody set is seriously on point, and I would absolutely adore having a Wedding album that looked something like this. Makes me reconsider my photography style for sure!
