Teri was an absolute gem to work with!! From the start, she was very prompt and open to ideas but also gave us peace of mind with her professional and friendly communications. As a bride from the US, planning the wedding overseas in France was challenging, but I knew I did not have to worry about the photos after securing Teri (which was a huge relief). She was actually the first vendor we booked. After a few calls, we met the day before the wedding (at the venue in France) and immediately connected! She was truly a joy to work with and the photos were amazing!! We could not be happier. We received so many compliments on the pictures and highly highly recommend working with Teri!

Being from Louisiana, we had no idea what our elopement in California was going to be like. I would have never expected it to be as amazing as it was. From the first day Heather contacted us I knew I made the best decision having her photograph our elopement. She was very patient, and she always went out of her way to answer our questions. Even when we had questions that had nothing to do with our photographs, she was thrilled to help. It is so obvious that she is extremely passionate about what she does. Her talent is evident in the beautiful photographs she captured for us. While I could speak on her talent endlessly, you can infer that from the photos she posts on her page. What you don’t see from her portfolio is her sparkling personality. She was a huge part of what made our day so special, and we will never forget her. It felt like we spend the day with a friend as opposed to a stranger. I highly recommend her to anyone who is getting married, especially if you are not from the area.

Planning a wedding is stressful as it is, and making the decision on who to trust and hire can be especially overwhelming because the photos will be your main keepsakes. We reviewed many photographers and I am so grateful we found and chose Teri! From the first call, she was calm, encouraging, and as excited as we were (even though she works in the wedding industry full time!). We have all of the lovely posed photos, and so much more- photos capturing the spontaneous and fleeting moments like the father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, and so many exchanges with our loved ones throughout the day. If you’re on the fence about scheduling an engagement session, I’d also like to recommend it. We decided to book one at the last minute about one month before our wedding because I felt anxious about looking stiff and unrelaxed in photos, and it was a huge help to practice with Teri! During my wedding day I also had a special moment with Teri when I joked about her capturing more on my “good side”, and she immediately squashed the negative self talk and helped me feel beautiful. It was worth every penny to have such a kind, artistic, and talented person responsible for capturing these once in a life time memories.

When planning for our June wedding in Mendocino, we knew we had to get the perfect photographer, someone who could really capture the beauty of the coast and all of the vibrant colors that come along with it. After viewing tons of portfolios, Apollo's work really stood out from the rest. We loved everything we saw, from their ability to capture motion, their framing, to their vivid presentation of colors. We immediately hopped on a call with Liv, and she was super clear and up front about the whole process, which was very helpful for a couple like us who have never hired a professional photographer before. Many months before the wedding, we worked with Andra for our engagement shoot and it couldn't have gone better! Both my fiance and I are not used to being in front of the camera, so we were definitely anxious about the whole ordeal, but Andra assuaged our fears instantly. She led us around Buena Vista park and picked out the best locations with the most magical lighting like a hawk. After feeling how comfortable we were with Andra taking our photos and seeing how beautiful they came out, we were both so much more confident and excited about our wedding to come. For our wedding weekend, Andra came up to Mendocino and captured both our Chinese tea ceremony/wedding games and the wedding itself. Andra was super punctual and always at the right place at the right time. She was always where the action was, even getting a photo of my fiance catching a random bird that flew into the house! On the day of the wedding itself, Andra and her team made both the bridal party and groom's party feel comfortable, and took some of the most breathtaking shots of us on the coast. After the ceremony, she was able to get everything we wanted: candid shots of pure happiness, photos with various permutations of family and friends, and moments on the dance floor after dinner, where Andra's photos serve as a more accurate record of events than our own memories. Earlier than expected, we got an email with some teasers and we were amazed! We showed them to our friends and family and they were equally blown away with how they turned out. It definitely left us super excited for the full album! Overall working with Andra and the team was fantastic. Great communication, no logistical overhead, fun and compassionate team, and beautiful memories captured perfectly. Apollo really has the best wedding photographers in the Bay Area, and we are so glad we were able to have them come up to Mendocino to take our photos. The moments Andra and the team captured for us will live with us forever. Every time we see them, we can't help but to smile!

Teri is PHENOMENAL! I have already recommended her to everyone getting married. There is NO way our wedding would have been captured as well, if it weren't for her. My dad is a professional fine arts photographer, so finding the perfect photographer wasn't going to be easy. We weren't looking for traditional, rather we wanted a photographer with an artistic approach & almost editorial in style. We wanted to capture the special moments & really take us back to the feeling of the night...Teri did exactly this & my dad is now obsessed with her work! :) Every time we look at the photos, I am taken back to that moment in time and feel it all over again. She captured all the fun times & all the sentimental moments. She was never intrusive & always worked with us to get the perfect shot. She also did our engagement shoot, a perfect warm up to the real thing. Teri made us feel comfortable, let us be silly & did not make us do any traditional poses. Throughout the whole process Teri was communicative, in touch & in tune with exactly what would make the important elements of our wedding stand out. Teri really got our vision & it's 100% evident in the photos. She captured every single memory & moment! The cherry on top was how quickly she got the photos back!
