We are SO SO lucky to have had Will photograph our mini wedding in Yosemite! Not only is he the nicest guy and super fun to hang out with, he is such a talented and dedicated photographer. He was so well prepared and thought of absolutely everything, even before the actual day. He sent us lists of accommodation, what to pack, what to wear etc. On the days we were there, he even brought us water, snacks, headlamps and walkie-talkies. He spared absolutely no effort to help us get the best photos possible, never tiring of helping us find the best light, best poses, best angles etc. Neither my husband nor I are used to being in front of a camera, but he was sooooo patient and made us feel at ease. My husband said that he was afraid that we wouldn’t be able to find a photographer who would be willing to hike to the gnarliest locations with us, but Will had no complaints and was in fact the one leading us off trail to find the coolest spots (lugging all his gear with him too). Will really cares about your experience and no amount of money can buy the amount of love and artistry he puts into his work. The experience was amazing, and the photographs were just stunning. I've had people tell me that they are the most beautiful wedding shots they had seen. I would recommend Will to absolutely anyone.

Vivian did a fantastic job with our wedding. Vivian was a total professional and made everything feel easy. My wife feels like she has a hard time smiling for photos (especially many photos in a row). Vivian did a wonderful job bringing out natural moments between my wife and I and capturing the beautiful scenic venue. She also did an amazing job capturing genuine candid moments among our guests. We are so happy with our wedding photos and highly recommend Vivian.

I cannot adequately express how wonderful it was to work with Heather. (And the bonus of her partner Mike!) She is incredibly communicative, so thoughtful (picked up my bouquet and delivered it to me, brought water and snacks for us, gifted us a Polaroid, brought towels to cover our car so I could change into my 2nd dress at the very end for our dinner, list goes on…), eager to help or provide input where we needed it, and allowed us slightly camera shy couple to feel completely at ease during our big day. Oh, she was also great about telling us to turn our heads or change up positions depending on the lighting…it was a very sunny day and she has a good eye for putting people in the best lighting possible. We had a whopping 964 photos and an adorable gif in our final gallery. I tried to reduce our gallery down in size to a “favorites” portfolio and was only able to half the size, but am slowly chipping away at it - it’s a wonderful problem to have. They are stunning. I sent an email to Heather recently that captured how we felt about our gallery and our experience and I can’t find better words to express our sentiments: “This gallery really warmed our hearts. I have a tremendous amount of gratitude for the vibe of our big day, for being present without our phones knowing you’d capture all the feels. We got to do everything in a way that was authentic to who we are and that is such a freeing feeling that is completely priceless. Every time I come back to our gallery to add more to my favorites, I feel that gratitude all over again.” It’s impossible to pick favorites for this review, but I sure will try! Update…I already can tell as I’m posting this that I’m missing some favorites, but I hope this helps anyone considering Heather to document something important to them. Her energy is calming and fun. I found her prices to be very competitive.

We couldn't have been happier with Seeking Venture Photo as our wedding photographer! From the moment we first spoke, Heather made us feel comfortable and confident that our special day would be captured beautifully. And true to this, she made us feel completely at ease and natural in our own skin on our big day. We originally were on the fence about first-look photos, but I am incredibly glad we added time for those, as they are also some of my favorites, with all the details and 'candids' of getting ready. Heather also made all the coordination and arrival to our getting ready location as well as the venue as smooth as could be, especially since we are not locals to the area - her knowledge was invaluable. Heather also managed to capture every important moment without being intrusive. She made sure we captured every photo on our short-list of poses, and suggested some other poses that ended up being some of our favorites! After our big day, the turnaround time for our photos was impressively quick! We are blown away by how Heather managed to capture the essence and emotion of our day. Every time we look at our wedding photos, we're transported back to those magical moments ♥️ We hope to work with her for future photography needs, as she went above and beyond for us in so many ways to our day incredibly special. I can honestly say we wouldn't have had the same experience with any one else. We highly recommend Seeking Venture Photos to anyone looking for a wedding photographer who is not only skilled, but also a joy to work with!

Heather was absolutely amazing! When we filled out her questionnaire before the photo session she was super detailed and very respectful of our wishes. I had mention that I have body dysmorphia and she made me feel confident and beautiful in all the pictures she captured on our big day. Heather was super flexible and willing to take as many pictures as we wished until we were satisfied. It was our first professional photo session and she made sure we were both comfortable and helped us pose and not feel awkward. Heather has this very fun, polite energy that makes you feel like you've met her before and have been friends in the past all the while remaining professional. She kept in great contact leading up to the big day and helped everything run smoothly.
