Michelle and Jeff were married at one of our favorite places in the world, the magical Stone Manor in the hills of Malibu, California. With the help of talented wedding coordinator Cassandra Santor, wonderful photographer Roberto Valenzuela, and many other passionate wedding pros, they hosted a celebration that is a joy for us to share with you. Get ready!

Michelle was radiant in her Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, and the spectacular setting over looking the ocean created an atmosphere that can't be beat. Chocolate brown and fuchsia details were chosen to look great alongside all the springtime colors in the gardens surrounding the house. Michelle and Jeff chose to use the color palette sparingly but beautifully in their invitations, flowers, table settings, wedding cake, and even in the wedding party's chic fashion. I absolutely love the pretty as a picture wedding cake from Cake Crumbs, the slightly deconstructed floral arrangements from Dandelion Ranch, and the use of creative containers like rustic wine crates and vases rich with patina.

The wedding ceremony was nondenominational but included some special Jewish traditions as well. When Michelle arrived at the alter, she held Jeff's hands and had a moment she'll never forget. "I was so nervous but as I looked into his eyes my entire body relaxed and it was as if we were alone… at that moment I knew I couldn’t wait a moment longer to be his wife." During their reception both Michelle and Jeff had special first dances with their mothers, and danced with each other to Rod Stewart's Have I Told You Lately, a song they've been singing to each other since they first fell in love. Their goal was to make sure all their guests had an incredible time, and it looks like they accomplished that, and more. When we asked Michelle to describe her day in three words, she said it was, "amazing, stunning and perfect", and we would bet that her friends and family would say exactly the same thing!

Cassandra Santor, the super fab Los Angeles wedding and event coordinator and dear Junebug friend (and member!) found this great idea from InStyle magazine the other day, and I just had to pass the brilliance along. Thanks Cassandra!

Creative craft ideas for mirror tape from InStyle Magazine

The idea? Using mirror tape as wedding decor! It's inexpensive but super shiny and chic to dress up surfaces like walls and tabletops, or items like cocktail trays, aisle runners, frames, gift card boxes, guest books or place card holders. Really, the possibilities are endless. I love the way InStyle magazine used it to create faux molding on that gorgeous lavender wall above. InStyle recommends using 3M Scotch Foil Tape from Amazon.com, and I found some other super colorful options at TheBandHall.com (shown below) and at Identi-Tape.com. Check them out and let your imagination get going!

Sticking with yesterday's theme of vintage wedding style, I'm loving these antique looking bridal garters from Bleu Garters that were sent to me by Junebug reader Alexandra. She said, "They are so beautiful, very vintage and feminine, but still kinda rockin'. Wearing a garter hadn't even entered into my mind until I saw these!" Nice! Check out the Bleu Garters website to see galleries of their products, and then shop online at ShopBleuGarters.com, or contact them for information about custom designs for your wedding.

While enjoying the blog of the lovely GH Kim Photography the other day I was stopped in my tracks by this gorgeous bride and her fabulous vintage wedding style. With her hair in finger waves, a single flower tucked behind one ear, pearls draped around her neck, and her grandmother's fur coat to keep her warm, Stephanie was the epitome of chic vintage style. Her look was ever so simply and elegantly done, and it blended perfectly with the other thoughtful details of the wedding day (like the men's suits and fedoras, the ring bearer's newsboy caps, and the antique Rolls Royce get-away car). Absolutely beautiful! Congratulations on your marriage Stephanie and Chris!
