The Junebug Weddings Team
General Manager and Editor-in-Chief
Small town roots and big city dreams led Carrie to attend The University of Texas at Austin, where she attained a degree in English and fell in love with Central Texas. In her time at Junebug, Carrie has worked alongside her team and industry experts to curate some of the world's most beloved wedding photo collections, which have been shared by publications such as Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, and Daily Mail. Having planned her own wedding in 2015, Carrie feels uniquely tied to Junebug's mission to empower couples and even went as far as to document her journey as an engaged woman in the popular From Blogger to Bride
series. Outside of weddings, Carrie enjoys exploring the Texas countryside, spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs Dewey and Miles, and cooking with her insanely supportive husband and her other half, Phil.

Constantly smiling and filling the office with joy, along with baked goods, Lexi is a graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Public Relations. Marissa's life technically began in the bayous of Southeast Texas, but she likes to think she was destined to be weird in Austin. From a very young age, the dream to attend UT was her main motivation, and performing on stage was everything else. Always having a sincere passion for anything containing the word "art," she had incredible opportunities working at Austin Women's Magazine and the Austin Film Festival while getting her degree in Theatre and Dance. Now with her biggest dream fulfilled, she feels blessed beyond words to be a part of Junebug - a magical place that combines her love of magazine journalism, creativity, fashion and collaboration. Along with these, her heart shares space with her other loves of the outdoors, being with family, yoga, and of course all things Longhorn.
Jessica is a native Texan residing in Austin since 2011. As a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Retail Merchandising, Jessica is ecstatic to bring her vast experience in the retail industry, sense of style, and her keen eye for beauty to the Junebug team. A self-acclaimed "foodie," she loves testing out Austin's hottest new restaurants, attending UT football games, and catching up on the latest episode of The Bachelorette.
Gabby is a longtime lover of language and current Mass Communications student. Hailing from Philadelphia, she made the move to Austin four years ago in search of a local community she could fall in love with - and fall in love, she did! Gabby is currently engaged and planning her own wedding, so she appreciates pertinent, innovative wedding inspiration and is thrilled to be able to work with Junebug. When she's not writing, you can find Gabby whipping up fruit jams and planning her next road trip in her East Austin home that she shares with her fiancé, two dogs, and four chickens.
Jamie is a Houstonian currently studying Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. Drawing from her love for music, photography, creative writing, and social media marketing, Jamie is passionate about connecting with people and telling stories. New to the Junebug Weddings team, she is excited to be a part of Junebug’s mission to empower couples to share and celebrate their love. When Jamie isn't gushing over weddings, you can find her playing around on her piano and eating all the ice cream the city of Austin has to offer.
