Vintage romance meets Lone Star State in Natalie and Joshua’s West Texas wedding. The combination of rustic glamour was achieved with lace details, soft pink and green florals, and the natural beauty of Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Photographer Joseph West is known for bringing the drama in his images by utilizing a darker tone, and his aesthetic perfectly complemented Natalie and Joshua’s wedding style.
Natalie and Joshua
Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Canyon, Texas
I have always been drawn to vintage style, so I knew I wanted a bright red lip and a fitted lace dress. We picked Palo Duro Canyon for its obvious beauty, and since we both grew up in the area, it’s symbolism of the West Texas panhandle. The rustic and glamorous came together perfectly.
There was a moment when Natalie and I were having our first dance where we floated from one side of the floor to the other. I was overwhelmed by the circle our dear friends and family formed around us. It was a perfect picture of their support and love. We were reminded that we didn’t make this commitment alone.
