On Monday we once again got to spend the day running around with beautiful models, spectacular dresses, adorable props and the best collaborators we could ask for as we photographed our upcoming Junebug Fashion Report. Cicada loaned us all of the bridal fashion, Margaret from Poppy Artistry worked her magic with the makeup, Jennie from Illustrated Hair gave the girls 60’s inspired up-dos, Trophy Cupcakes make us the cutest (and yummiest) pink cupcakes ever, Dunn Gardens provided the pristine private gardens for our backdrop, Christopher from Christopher Flowers created some stunning bouquets and lent a helping hand all day long, I worked the camera and the whole support team worked their tails off. Phew! What a fun day!
The concept of the shoot was to have individual color stories of pink, purple, green and red, and the flowers that Christopher came up with for each color were absolutely amazing! I think my favorite was the pink bouquet, which was a combination of cymbidium orchids and lisianthus buds with a handle made of horse tail and a decorative wrap of a pink metallic aluminum wire. So pretty! The red bouquet had dahlias, leucadendron, camellia foliage and these adorable little blackberries, and the purple bouquets were combinations of hyacinth and stock, and hydrangea and veronica. Gorgeous! A huge thank you to Christopher and everyone else involved!
