The sunshine in Seattle finally feels here to stay, so I’m saying hooray for summer with a wedding inspiration board in the sunniest of colors, aqua blue and yellow! This color palette makes me smile just looking at it – who wouldn’t love to be surrounded by all those little details like the turquoise earrings, the yellow heels, the blue bicycle and the get-away car? So fun! And even better, all the photos are from our new wedding image gallery. If you haven’t already seen it, be sure to take a look. It’s filled with gorgeous work from truly amazing photographers, and it’s growing every week!
I happen to love a little band called the White Stripes (you may have heard of them) and on Sunday I was lucky enough to get to road trip up to Vancouver, BC to see them play and to visit my friend Ben who is touring with them (see the man in uniform above). The show rocked, we had a blast, and now I love the band even more! On the drive home, visions of their constant red, white and black color scheme flickered in my mind and I got to wondering what a White Stripes wedding would look like. Graphic, intense, quirky, dramatic and a little bit rock and roll: my idea of the ultimate red, white and black wedding! Now if only Jack and Meg would play at the reception…
