There’s something so timelessly chic about a bride with red lipstick, a stunning veil, and a vintage inspired gown. Rebecca certainly accomplished the vintage, romantic look she was aiming for in her blush and pink wedding. With the help of a fabulous team of professionals, Rebecca and Kyle’s day was simple, elegant, and filled with laughter and joy! Junebug member, Shauna Heron documented the pair’s soft, delicate wedding with skill and mastery.

The Inspiration: “I wanted to have a vintage, romantic look. This fit well with the colours we went with (blush pink, gold, and ivory) and with the lace dress I knew I wanted. This also inspired the silhouette of my dress (cap sleeves rather than strapless), the long dresses of the bridesmaids, and my cathedral veil. It also helped us come up with our favours, old fashioned glass bottles of Coca-Cola, which fit with the theme and tied in Kyle‘s love of the drink.
The Moments: “My favourite moment of the wedding was when we were up in front of our friends and family, sharing our vows. My husband had not cried in eight years, but he teared up while making his promises to me. To have finally reached that moment after six years together was wonderful.
(It was very hard to narrow this down to just one thing, because our entire wedding pretty much went off without a hitch! Other than almost forgetting the boutonnieres and the weather, everything went as planned.)”
The Couple Recommends: “All of our vendors were easy to work with, but Shauna, Bryston’s, and Red’s DJ all went above and beyond. We had guests compliment us on all of their work and even had people say they would use the same vendors if they get married in Sudbury. All three vendors were also extremely prompt with their replies and made sure to get to know what our guests would be like and what our desires were before the day of our wedding. I have nothing but good things to say about all of them.”
