Blush and Ivory Ohio Wedding

December 5, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

The Carrs Photography | Studio

Bayley and Evan’s sweet Ohio wedding was centered around their faith and their love, which was reflected beautifully in their simple, yet significant, wedding style. Each choice made when designing their wedding celebration was through love and faith, making it extremely personal. The blush and ivory color palette was elegant and natural, and we love how it gave a low-key spirit to the whole event. The amazing Carrs Photography have done it again, capturing such inspiring moments between the couple on their most cherished day.

The Couple: Bayley and Evan

The Wedding: The Innkeeper, Lewisburg, Ohio

The Inspiration: “The best way to describe our wedding is natural and organic. We wanted to dress up God’s creation and remain true to who we are as a couple. It was a non-traditional wedding held outdoors surrounded by trees, ponds, and open fields. The location of our wedding really inspired our wedding design. Bayley loves the rustic romantic chic look and wanted to create an intimate ambiance on a large space of land. We had chandeliers and white drapery hanging from the trees, and a rustic arbor hand-crafted by Evan and his Dad which was woven with elegant flowers. Blush, champagne, and cream were our prominent colors. It was important to us for our theme to look simple but be deeply meaningful.

The Moments:

Evan: My favorite moment was when I saw Bayley walking down the aisle towards me. I couldn’t hold back the tears. She was stunning in her beautiful lace wedding dress. I knew in that moment I had made the best decision of my life in marrying her!

Bayley: Walking down the aisle was by far my favorite moment. As soon as I saw Evan‘s face, my eyes filled with tears and remember I felt the biggest, most genuine smile I’ve ever had. We had waited for this moment for so long!

The Couple Recommends: “Michael Carr and his assistant Josh Ohms were absolutely incredible to work with. Wedding photography was our most important priority and as soon as I saw The Carr’s portfolio, I knew his style would capture our wedding in the way were dreaming of, but of course, he went above and beyond our expectations. The images we received are absolutely breathtaking. When I open our wedding album, I get to relive our beautiful wedding day all over again. I couldn’t imagine our wedding without the artistic direction of Michael; he is of great character, personable, fun, full of creative ideas, and has a calming presence. I highly, highly recommend him to all future brides I meet.

Elegant Polish Wedding

December 5, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

Romantic-Wedding-in-Poland-7

From lace sleeves to custom jewelry to stunning light, this Polish wedding is the very definition of elegance. Kasia and Miguel were married at Restauracja Nad Potokiem in a charming garden ceremony. The classic black and white color scheme kept the focus on the bride and groom, while also showcasing the special, subtle details throughout the day. Monika Photo Art captured truly mesmerizing images of the couple exchanging vows and romantic glances.

The Couple: Kasia and Miguel

The Wedding: Restauracja Nad Potokiem, Gdansk, Poland

The Inspiration:

“What we were looking for was a timeless and discrete elegance with a little hint of vintage glamour. That is why we’ve decided for our venue to be covered in white with a delicate hint of silver details. Tables were decorated with white roses and baby’s breath centerpieces. Miguel wore a tailored black suit with a bow tie and a tux shirt, while I chose a lace mermaid dress with train, open back and long sleeves, all paired with a Spanish style veil, called a mantilla.”

The Moments:

Miguel: My favorite moment was after the pastor said “You may kiss the bride!” Then as we walked up the aisle our guests shot the rose petals confetti cannons in the air. It really spread the excitement!
Kasia: When we read our self written vows and I could see little tears in Miguel‘s eyes when I read mine with my voice breaking. It was the most intimate and honest moment I could imagine.

The Couple Recommends: “I loved working with Monika Photo Art. Working with her was soothing, especially after a long day of wedding preparations and on the day after. Thanks to her talent and incredible skill of catching the sunlight, all pictures taken during the wedding ceremony and also those in the historic nooks of Mariacka Street, in Gdańsk’s old town, will forever remind us of the most beautiful day in our lives.
