Here at Junebug we’re suckers for an exceptional engagement session, and Becca and Matt’s Meatpacking District photo shoot looks like an editorial torn from the pages of a major magazine. Still55 Photography truly brought their A-Game when capturing the stylish couple venturing throughout the intricate angles of the city. Becca looks absolutely stunning with her hair and makeup done by NYC stylist Eden Di Bianco. The chic black and white images are full of texture and personality. Not only do Becca and Matt look confident and comfortable in front of the camera, but we can tell they especially loved shooting with Still55 Photography to celebrate their engagement.
A major thanks to Still55 Photography for allowing us to share this extremely cool Meatpacking District engagement, and a huge congrats to Becca and Matt on their engagement! For more stylish engagement inspiration, you’ve got to see Mayra and Mason’s sweet Los Angeles engagement session.
A farm wedding complete with livestock may not sound delicate or elegant, but Carrie and Ronnie’s vintage-inspired country wedding in Kentucky is positively gorgeous. Carrie is the most beautiful bride, with soft curls braided into a perfectly classic style, accessorized with a delightful and glamorous pin. Even her bouquet looks antique with its muted sage green, coral, and ivory yellow. Stephanie Lyell of Lyell Photography captured the light effortlessly, making for romantic portraits of the couple enjoying their first moments as husband and wife.
We didn’t really have any specific theme. Our colors were very neutral and understated. We chose details simply based on what we liked. Our flowers were very natural with lots of texture and greenery. The pictures were taken outside at my parent’s farm where I grew up.
The Moments:
My favorite moment from the wedding was definitely taking pictures at my parent’s farm with my friends and family. Some of my favorite pictures are the ones of my family in front of our house because it captures us and was very personal to me. I also love the ones of Ronnie and I riding the contraption that my dad built. He calls it the “ChoreMaster”. He decorated it with a “Just Married” sign and tied cans to the back. Because of the sentimental value of where we were, that was definitely my favorite part of the wedding.
The Couple Recommends:
Stephanie Lyell was an absolutely AMAZING wedding photographer. She captured so many great moments and gave us memories that we will cherish forever! She was so easy to work with and captured our wedding perfectly. A New Leaf Florist was amazing as well. They got my vision of what I wanted the flowers to be like. I couldn’t have been happier with the results. The Newport Syndicate was a great place to have our wedding. The staff were great to work with and made sure that the night went smoothly. And the food was AWESOME! Greenline salon is the best around! I had a large wedding party and they were so accommodating. Everyone’s hair was beautiful! I could go on….I loved all of our vendors!
A special thanks to Lyell Photography for sharing a glimpse into Carrie and Ronnie’s Kentucky wedding. For more country wedding inspiration, check out Brit and Daniel’s handmade farm wedding in Oklahoma.

My heart is tied to each portrait I put on paper and each pencil mark is intentional. It is a joy to create and I feel privileged to do so! I work one-on-one with brides to create the perfect drawing(s) for them! I feel even more so connected to the drawings as I work with the brides, hear their love stories and pick out photos.
