Judith and Aarao met while studying abroad in Israel, and it was love at first sight. Though she was from Philadelphia and he was from Brazil, their love for each other eventually overcame the distance. Their wedding at Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia flourished with deep pink, yellow and orange colors. The bride wore a gorgeous, flowing wedding gown that resembled the effortless relationship between the sweet couple. Asya Photography expertly captured the incredible moments from this pink and yellow wedding.

The Couple:

Judith and Aarao

The Wedding:

Rittenhouse Hotel, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Inspiration:

It was Moroccan themed (my dad is from Morocco; it’s an inspiring place for me), which meant lots of lanterns, and purple, pink, orange and gold colored cloths and flowers. Instead of place cards, we bought over 100 tea cups from Turkey (in different colors), filled them with Jordan almonds, and tied the place cards onto the sides of the cup. My mom’s idea. Worked out beautifully.

The Moments:

We hired an AMAZING Brazilian band called Philly Bloco; a 20 piece samba band with over 10 percussionists. They entered with giant samba drums strapped to their chests, banging out incredible beats, and then jumped on stage and gave the best samba performance you’ll find outside of Brazil. We danced all night. They totally knocked everyone’s socks off… into space. That’s how amazing they were. People’s socks flew into space.

The Couple Recommends:

Asya Photography. Asya and her team were nothing short of amazing. She was not only professional, but extremely accommodating. Anything we wanted she made happen. And if it couldn’t be done, she found a way to get it done somehow. I highly recommend her for any brides out there.

Colorful Hair Accessories:

Bridal crowns aren’t what we’re predicting this year. We can’t wait to see more colorful florals uniquely placed throughout the bride’s hair. This whimsical look adds a touch of color to a bride’s overall look.

Repurposed Gowns:

Truly creating a one-of-a-kind day, brides who wear wedding gowns made from other once used items showcase a unique look that would be found nowhere else. Whether the items be sentimental or not, the dress is sure to be an original. Top-designers have already jumped on the trend! Joelle Perry created a repurposed gown using a 1940’s table cloth.

Elegant Wedding at Montaluce Winery

April 16, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Elegant-Wedding-Montaluce-Winery-Vue-Photography (21 of 24)

With its pastel color palette and incredible vineyard views, Emily and Stephen’s Montaluce Winery wedding in Georgia was irresistibly romantic. The bride said “I do” in an fun, elegant Hayley Paige gown which stole the show until groom Stephen surprised everyone with a serenade during the reception. Vue Photography brilliantly captured the day, from impeccable detail shots to dreamy golden hour portraits among the vineyards.

The Couple:

Emily and Stephen

The Wedding:

Montaluce Winery, Dahlonega, Georgia

The Inspiration:

I love fashion and trends, so I wanted a young, trendy designer for my wedding dress. That’s why I chose Hayley Paige. Her dresses are beautiful and romantic but most of all FUN! I could not choose just one color for the bridesmaid dresses, so I choose 5 different colors, all soft pastels and neutrals. Each one of my friends are so beautiful and unique that I wanted them to feel different and special so they all chose their own style dress from the Amsale line.

I wanted our wedding to feel romantic, modern and fun, but most of all I wanted to add personal touches that I knew would make people smile. A July wedding in Georgia was a must. I wanted a hot, summer evening with special touches like juicy watermelon in the salads and cold, Bourbon Peach Smash signature cocktails — things that are most appreciated in the South!

The Moments:

Not a lot of people knew this at the time, but Stephen can really sing! At one point he got up on stage with all of his groomsmen, grabbed the mic from our band, bourbon drink in hand and sang “You’ve Lost that Lovin Feelin.” I have never been serenaded but what a better time and place than that moment! Very Top Gun and very Stephen.

The Couple Recommends:

I worked with Edge Designs on the floral and they did a fantastic job. We had a cross at our ceremony that was hand-crafted by a family friend and later will be transformed into a bench for our first home. Edge did a great job of encompassing the cross with flowers for the ceremony. One of my favorite design touches were the arches of flowers and candles that hung from the ceiling above our band. They blew me away! Since I knew our crew would be on the patio with the band for the majority of the night, I wanted something that really stood out outside and Edge did a fantastic job! We also set up a cigar and bourbon and scotch bar upstairs in case guests wanted to get away from the dance floor for a bit.
