Feeling blown away by the beauty and surrounding grounds of Curzon Hall in Sydney, Australia, Darya and Alexander designed simple décor that wouldn’t take away from the scenery. Magnificent architecture, simple white florals, and navy blue bridesmaids gowns gave this garden wedding the classic feel the couple hoped for. The Inspiration:
We looked for ideas and inspirations on Pinterest. Both of us wanted the wedding to be classy and simple. Not too much bling, no bright colors.. When we came across Curzon Hall we were blown away by how beautiful and grand the venue was. You did not need much decorations because the venue itself is simply stunning and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Since Alex and I are from 2 different religions we decided to have a civil marriage and get married in one of the beautiful gardens at Curzon hall. The ceremony was followed by cocktail hour and into reception at the Banquet Room at Curzon Hall.
The Moments:
The whole wedding day was filled with so many emotions and so much fun! We enjoyed every moment of the day but I think the highlight of the night was the Jewish tradition of lifting the bride and groom up on the chairs as well as throwing of the garter, because my creative husband has planned a little surprise for everyone by placing a bag full of comical props under the chair so when he climbed under my dress to get the garter, he started pulling our funny things like baby dolls, a wig, and many other props. It was absolutely hilarious and everyone had a blast.
