Two cultures, one beautiful couple, and a venue that transformed from a traditional Indian ceremony to a glamorous Jewish one. The 1920s inspired Chicago wedding took place at Germania Place where guests joined Aravina and Mason in tying the knot twice, each ceremony honoring their individual customs. The Indian ceremony was vibrant and full of timeless rituals and lots of smiles. During the Jewish ceremony is where the vintage styling really came in to play, with the bride wearing an embellished gown, a crystal-adorned headpiece, and a dramatic red lip. Liz Lui Photography and Old North Film Co brilliantly captured every facet of the special day in both still images and film.

The Moments: It was all such a blur, but I will never forget the back stage moments of quiet, being with family right before walking down the aisle…not once, but twice! Once for an Indian ceremony and once for a Jewish one.
The Inspiration: Vintage! We wanted it to have a kind of Great Gatsby feel, but it ended up falling somewhere between 1920-30s flare.
