Alexandra and Nicholas’ Croatian wedding is the very definition of a breath of fresh air. The stunning couple said “I do” in an intimate outdoor ceremony where fresh lavender lined the rows of golden chairs. After tying the knot, the newlyweds and their wedding party explored Hvar a little, stopping along the way to bask in the bliss of the day while Lifestories Wedding snapped the most gorgeous portraits. The celebration concluded at Spanjola Fortress with cake and dancing, and everyone present could feel the love that night.

The Inspiration: True to us. Elegant yet simple. We are intrigued by travel and cultures, so keeping the affair locally croatian yet with our style was important. I draw and designed my own dress, and found the amazing Lucia Rodriguez to bring it to life.
The Moments: The whole wedding was so magical. Hearing our parents speak at the reception was so special. And standing in front of my man at the altar was something else. It was like no one else of around, so incredibly in the moment of love.
The Recommendation: Anita, our wedding planner, was the keystone to the entire magical week. She never bothered us with stress even though on the day of the wedding there was a power out across the island! She is a humble, incredible woman. Our chef was out of this world, he was crafting the delicious cuisine weeks in advance, visiting near by islands, and his childhood village to collect the best possible produce. And finally our photographer Yann, he is the most relaxed, professional guy you could possibly want on your day. Overall our whole team that made the week possible was incredible, and my gratitude is huge for them. I only wish we could do it all again to work with these talented individuals.
