A motorcycle, a cornfield, and a couple who couldn’t be more in love; every thing about Lindsay and Dan’s vintage Americana-inspired motorcycle engagement photos has us feeling giddy! Wild Souls Studio captured the Massachusetts engagement on a foggy fall day where Lindsay and Dan blissfully rode around on their motorbike. Their carefree spirits really shine in these images, and we can’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy looking at them!

Two modelesque grooms, Old Hollywood glamour, and The Parker Palm Springs made for a perfectly swoon-worthy wedding. Seriously, if you’ve ever needed a fainting couch, it’s now! Jonathan and Marc’s Palm Springs wedding may have stuck to a black and white color palette, but the celebration was overflowing with charisma. From the glam hotel setting to the middle of the desert, Rouxby marvelously captured Jonathan and Marc’s spirit as a couple in every frame.
We wrote our own vows, which made the ceremony very personal, emotional, and entertaining all at the same time. That really set the tone for the entire party afterwards, which culminated in a “midnight swim” where we jumped in the pool with many of our guests.
We wanted to get married at a destination that balanced great weather and fun personality. We knew the Parker Palm Springs was a perfect fit for our wedding because it combined high design with smile factor. The Parker’s eclectic, irreverent, and iconic mid-century décor spoke to us, and provided the laid-back, comfortable yet quirky vibe we were looking for.
Jonathan‘s dad told us the night before the wedding that we could either have the wedding go perfectly, or we could have fun, but we would not be able to have both. In the end, we actually did get both, but probably only because we were in the mindset to focus on the fun part and not worry about what might not go exactly according to plan.
We wanted our wedding feel cool and classic, but not too fancy or serious. And let’s face it: we’re two grooms, so we did not want anything pretty or floral or feminine. We went for an “Old Hollywood” theme in black and white, which suited our Palm Springs backdrop perfectly.
Congrats to Jonathan and Marc on their impossibly chic Palm Springs wedding, and a big thanks to Rouxby for sharing such gorgeous images! For more Palm Springs wedding inspiration, check out Morgan and Dennis’ modern classic wedding at The Parker Palm Springs.
It’s hard not to be inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, so it’s easy to see why Jessica and Evan incorporated their favorite place into the design of their Mt Hood Organic Farms wedding. The dark teal and neutral taupe color palette designed by Bridal Bliss mimicked the mountains in the distance, while orange blooms arranged by Blüm Floral Design provided a subtle pop of color into the outdoor celebration. Photographer Jeff Newsom and Watertown Films brilliantly captured the exciting day, and the images and film both showcase the incredible colors of the Pacific Northwest.
Seeing Evan before the ceremony for the “First Look” was probably my favorite part of the wedding. The anxiety, stress and nerves melted away when we hugged and the true meaning of our day, our love, took over for the rest of the day and kept me stress free and happy for the rest of the day and into the night!
We absolutely love nature and hiking and wanted to incorporate the beauty of the Pacific Northwest into our day. We decided on Mt. Hood Organic Farms for the relaxed elegance and the stunning views of the mountain. Our colors were deep teal and taupe and our theme was vintage inspired relaxed elegance.
A special thanks to Jessica and Evan for giving Junebug a glimpse into their Pacific Northwest wedding! For more from Jeff Newsom, check out Sonia and Vince’s vibrant urban wedding in Los Angeles.
