January 18, 2016 | Junebug Weddings

Understated-Hotel-Bel-Air-Wedding-Amy-and-Stuart-14

Personal, rustic, and quintessentially California, Nathalie and Andrew’s Hotel Bel-Air wedding was everything they imagined and more. Wedding planner Pryor Events created an understated garden scene with polished wooden furniture, elegant table settings, and a dose of twinkly lights. Amy & Stuart Photography captured all of the magic, from the lighthearted ceremony to sweet whispers between newlyweds during dinner.

The Couple:

Nathalie and Andrew

The ceremony and vows were the most memorable part of the day. Our ceremony was very personal. We are not normally comfortable being the center of attention and having so many eyes on us so we were nervous! We wanted to keep it short so we could get on with the party. Andrews uncle got ordained to marry us and he did an amazing job officiating the ceremony. It was exactly how we wanted it, lighthearted, personal and to the point. We chose to read each other our own vows.

Our wedding vibe was reflective of our personalities and style. We wanted a relaxed, rustic atmosphere with great food, fun music and never an empty glass!

Elegant Wine Country Wedding at Lincourt Vineyards

January 17, 2016 | Junebug Weddings

There’s nothing more relaxing than the Wine Country, and for Evan and Alex, it’s the exact reason they chose Lincourt Vineyards in Solvang, California for their beautiful wedding. With its manicured lawns, oak trees, and wheat fields the venue had just the right look they were going for – elegant, romantic, and breathtaking. Documenting the most romantic moments, Tyler Branch Photo was sure to capture gorgeous photos of the couple at sunset.

From the bride: The florals included ivory garden roses, ivory peonies, café au lait dahlias, eucalyptus, and olive leaves. My dress was A- Line with a beaded Chantilly lace and fitted to right above the hip that cascaded into a full French tulle skirt, with a gorgeous open back and long train. My grandmother gave me a gold garnet necklace that I wore on the day to remind me of her endless love.

From the bride: For the ceremony, we decided to incorporate some Catholic elements and wrote our own vows. Shelby Nolan created our beautiful floral arch using a wrought-iron frame, ivory roses, hydrangeas, and greenery in an asymmetrical style. We had a friend of Evan’s sing and play the same song evan proposed to me with, “Grow Old With Me,”. Our reading was done by our best friend, Morgan, The Art of Marriage by Wilferd Arlan Peterson. Evan and I crafted our vows separate, making them fit exactly who we are.

Emanuel and Kristin’s industrial inspired wedding was filled with many rustic touches. The muted florals, stringed lights, and wooden chairs created a romantic atmosphere for their big day. With its eroded walls and wooden beams, Greenpoint Loft in Brooklyn, New York was a beautiful focal point of the design. Sarina for Khaki Bedford Photography perfectly captured the amazing couple as they enjoyed their special day!

From the couple: We made our own candles packaged in hand-stamped linen drawstring bags. Each bag had a his and hers scented candle and my sister-in-law created a logo we had made into a stamp for the bags. In retrospect, the seemingly simple candle favors turned out to be A LOT of work; we had a small assembly line going in our apartment the week before the wedding. It was worth it though!
