It’s easy to see why Jena and Nigel fell in love with Historic Shady Lane: a glass greenhouse, a dreamy ceremony spot beneath the trees, and a romantic abundance of moss and ivy everywhere you look. A color palette of neutrals, copper, and greenery by Alegre Concierge created a timeless scene that the newlyweds will look back on after years of marriage and still love just as much. Char Co. captured every stunning moment and detail that made Jena and Nigel’s greenhouse wedding a true inspiration.
The most memorable part of the day was seeing my Nigel at the end of the aisle as I walked down. He was the only person I saw— seriously, I don’t think I looked at anyone else but him! It was such a magical experience.
We planned our wedding in just about 6 months, and honestly I wouldn’t do it any other way. The first month of gathering and booking vendors wasn’t as difficult as I had imagined. The last 2 weeks before the wedding day required a lot of organization getting all the final details together—but working with a great team of professionals helped to ease my mind and allowed me to put trust in them to have it all together. Having a shorter engagement allowed us to better stay on budget and enjoy the process instead of it feeling drawn out.
We chose our wedding venue, Historic Shady Lane, because it had an old glass greenhouse! The property felt historic and undiscovered, with beautiful views and natural scenery.
We wanted the wedding to feel greenhouse-inspired, timeless, and effortless, so we went with white, dove gray, neutrals, copper, and greenery.
Have you ever loved someone so much that you wanted to scream it from the top of the world? Alana and Duncan’s Sea to Sky Gondola engagement may as well have been just that, as the pair took in the Howe Sound from an epic suspension bridge in Squamish, British Columbia. Wonderlust Photography brilliantly captured the couple’s love for travel and each other in these breathtaking shots in one of the most beautiful overlooks the world has to offer.
A big thanks to Wonderlust Photography for sharing Alana and Duncan’s larger-than-life Sea to Sky Gondola engagement with Junebug! Are you as obsessed with this outlook as we are? Check out Joan and Steve’s intimate Squamish wedding at Sea to Sky Gondola for more inspiration!
