This Page, Arizona Sweetheart Session Will Put a Smile on Your Face

September 29, 2017 | Junebug Weddings

Photographer Rachel Wakefield captured this truly free spirited and adventurous sweetheart session in the Arizona desert, with iconic viewpoint Horseshoe Bend offering a breathtakingly beautiful background. Rolling sand dunes, layers of brightly covered cliffs and dramatic skies were only able to garnish the love and happiness Sarah and Jorge clearly have for each other. The scenery is no match for their unbridled joy and passion. We love the complete fearlessness of this couples shoot, taking their love to new heights and bright horizons!

Special thanks to Rachel Wakefield Photography for sharing this incredible sweetheart shoot with Junebug! Inspired by the dramatic scenery? Check out this natural elopement inspiration in Bronson Canyon!

High Fashion Inspired Northern Ireland Wedding at Drenagh House

September 29, 2017 | Junebug Weddings

Tanice and Jon-Paul’s dreamy and elegant wedding was inspired by the lush fairytale Drenagh Estate and rococo collections by Gucci and Dolce and Gabbana. The bride wore silver Gucci mules, a gorgeously modern Elizabeth Fillmore gown with perfect draping, and a stunning D&G inspired crown she DIY’d in the weeks before the wedding. This emotional and intimate takeover of the Georgian manor and acres of private gardens and wooded forest was the perfect setting for a relaxed wedding full of high fashion glamour and style and Chris Copeland Photography captured it beautifully.

The Couple:

Tanice and Jon-Paul

The Wedding:

Drenagh Estate, Northern Ireland

We decided that for something so special, the most important thing for us was to have an intimate weekend full of those who fully supported us.

I really wanted to wear a crown, but they were all so pricey so I spent a night a couple of weeks before making my own. I was inspired by D&G and Ashish and neither my bank balance or husband-to-be were up for forking out for one, so I went to a local craft shop, bought wire and beads and got to work. I needed tiny pliers and my hands were cut to pieces, but it turned out well.

I walked in to an acoustic version of ‘She’s Royal’ by Taurus Riley and our first dance was to ‘I Feel Good’ by Beres Hammond.

I was totally inspired by the Gucci Garden campaign; florals, clashing colours, beautiful fabrics, feminine. My wedding dress was my dream! Many years ago I saw some Elizabeth Fillmore pieces on the runway and fell in love. I really didn’t think I would actually get to wear one – but dreams do come true! I loved that my dress was comfortable (enough to hike a 3yo around on my hip), figure hugging, simple yet ornate. I’ll certainly get my wear out of it (watch this space). I accessorized it with some Gucci mules, diamanté earrings and my DIY crown.

We chose our music the day before and just went with it. I think it’s the most memorable part of our day because without any planning we had the most natural and meaningful dance ever.

Our groomsmen wore tux and the little ones just about wore what they were supposed to. We couldn’t find our flower girls shoes and tights on the morning of the wedding – so they wore beautiful, ivory satin dresses with their own socks and trainers. Our sons (aged 9 & 3) wore matching tux which they kept on for around half an hour after the ceremony.
