Nirvi and Hemu’s Indian wedding at Lake Mirror Complex in Lakeland, Florida combined vibrant tradition with a modern twist. Hemu rode in to the celebration atop a white horse before finally seeing his bride during their customary ceremony. The colors and textures of the décor were exceptionally rich, all of which Gian Carlo Photography masterfully captured.

It was straight up colorful and Indian with some modern twists!
The Moments:
When I put the ring on Hemu’s finger — but on the wrong hand! The funny thing was that no one stopped us, not even the priest. Hemu thought it was odd, but that it was the tradition from my side of the family.

Gian Carlo is a movie maker with a still camera. The richness of the colors and geometry of the angles make for a feel of modern whimsy with a documentary vibe at the same time. He is a true artist at capturing candid moments deep in emotion. Don’t get me started on his version of composition……love it!
