Low-key bohemian never looked as good as in Siobhan and John’s Mallorca wedding! Their rustic outdoor venue, Fangar, offered a breathtaking backdrop for all the boho goodness Paloma Cruz Eventos added, including dried palm fronds, poufs, pillows, pampas grass, and linens. Flowerscence created a gorgeous display of multidimensional arrangements in neutral hues, which complemented the venue perfectly. We love that the bride kept her look effortless yet chic with a Suzanne Neville gown and updo accented with flowers. From the pre-ceremony getting ready moments to the golden hour portraits, photographer Pablo Laguia captured every moment of this Mallorca wedding brilliantly!
The Couple:
Siobhan and John
The Wedding:
Fangar, Mallorca, Spain
The most important thing to us when planning our wedding was to create a relaxed, intimate environment. One all our friends and family could enjoy because the main focus of the day was to share our story with the people we love most. We didn’t want anything about the day to feel too formal. That’s not really how we are as a couple, so we didn’t feel like we needed to follow any particular rules or expectations. We are both creatives, so attention to detail, personalized decoration and color were all exciting elements for us to play with.
Once we had seen Fangar, it wasn’t even a question– we couldn’t see ourselves ever getting married anywhere else! We were told the night before it was no longer available but decided to go and see it anyway. Once we arrived, we realized we had to make it happen! We had seen loads of beautiful venues but none that spoke to us like Fangar. It has an unrefined and raw natural beauty that doesn’t say “wedding” but magical storybook. There are ustic doorways, secret gardens, cacti, and greenery in hidden corners, all surrounded by a breathtaking backdrop of mountains. It had everything we could ever have hoped for!
We didn’t follow a conventional ceremony format. Instead, we had our brother-in-law conduct the blessing, we wrote our own vows, and we had a handful of our best friends come up to talk about what they thought made a good marriage. They all gave us wisdom and advice to take through on our new life chapter together.
We were super lucky that our sister in law is an incredibly talented wedding stationery designer, so all our wedding invites, menus, and the table plan was designed by her. She offers a bespoke service that tailors each design to be personal and unique to each couple. As you enter Fangar, you drive down a long road lined in Palm trees, so she hand drew beautiful palms that became iconic to the wedding decor.
