Take a classic black and white wedding and add vibrant touches of red, pink, yellow, and orange to make for a chic and colorful celebration like Caylee and Ross’! The couple tied the knot at Talloula where in-house planner Glynnis Dirksen designed exactly the bold celebration the newlyweds imagined for their big day. It’s no secret we love sweets, so of course we’re obsessed with the Pimp Your Pancake station complete with fruit toppings and delicious syrups in every flavor you may crave. If you’ve been searching for wedding inspiration that is as unique as it is sophisticated, look no further!
The Couple:
Caylee and Ross
The Wedding:
Talloula, Durban, South Africa
The Inspiration:
I have an absolute passion for all things beautiful and different. I had seen a blog post of a summer party and fell in love with the decor. I was worried that Ross would think it was too out there, but he loved it as much as I did. We gave a brief to our event planner and she transformed it into something out of this world. We were absolutely blown away with the final look!
The Moments:
Leaving the chapel as husband and wife. we asked all of our guests to leave the chapel before us so that they could gather colourful petals to shower us with as we walked through which made for absolutely gorgeous photos and a moment that we will always cherish.
The Couple Recommends:
All of our professionals were amazing, but a special mention of Bron and Michigan from Vanilla photography as well as Glynnis from Talloula. Both were incredibly easy to work with and their final outcomes surpassed all of our expectations. Our day could not have been any more perfect.
