Extraordinary Wedding Tents and Decor Design by Gypset

March 25, 2013 | editorial team

Originally from Europe where they’ve designed countless creative celebrations over the last 7 years, the ultra-talented event designers at Gypset have recently moved to Los Angeles to begin a new adventure, and we’re so excited to have them as members of our LA Wedding Planning Hotlist! Unlike most other event companies, Gypset designs and builds all of their furniture, structures and lamps themselves, and hand selects all of their handmade rugs directly from the source. […]

Rock and Roll London Wedding at the Battersea Power Station by Mark Niemierko

January 9, 2013 | editorial team

Nobody does a wedding quite like the talented team at London's Niemierko, so when our dear friend and Junebug member wedding planner Mark Niemierko sent over the photo and video footage of this spectacular wedding, I was simply speechless. In the ruins of London's landmark Battersea Power Station, Mark and a seeming army of helpers, transformed a disused coal power plant into a rock and roll wedding wonderland for some very special VIP clients.

Fun California Academy of Sciences Wedding – Caroline and Christopher

August 9, 2012 | editorial team

I might be a little biased (my path to the wedding industry had a few detours that involved my biology degree), but you don't have to love science to love Caroline and Christopher's super fun San Francisco wedding! Their day highlighted some quintessential San Francisco scenery and venues, including traditional cable cars, historic Old Saint Mary's Cathedral, the charming Garden of Shakespeare's Flowers at Golden Gate Park, and the standout California Academy of Sciences. The couple's decor choices wonderfully complemented the amazing venues, and the end result was a cohesive and fascinating wedding, beautifully captured by Cliff Brunk Photography!

Woodland Winter Wedding in Lake Tahoe, California – Scott Corridan and Viera Photographics

May 29, 2012 | editorial team

For this stylish and creative woodland winter wedding in Lake Tahoe, California, groom Karl imagined a campfire-style wedding in the middle of the forest, while Christina envisioned something a bit more polished, so they looked to wedding planner Scott Corridan to create a chic event that suited both of their personalities. I'm in love with the hot cocoa, winter wedding fashion and modern woodland decor in these wedding photos by Viera Photographics!

Intimate Dinner Party Wedding at The Corson Building in Seattle – Megan and Tim

May 17, 2012 | editorial team

Here at Junebug, one of our favorite things about weddings is that they are unique and different for each couple. We truly believe there is no right or wrong way to do things. I love how today's couple, Megan and Tim, followed their hearts and created a wedding day that had all the elements they love - intimate moments with their closest friends and family, spectacular seasonal northwest cuisine, and none of the things that felt like an obligation. Enjoy reading about their planning process, what was important to them, and the gorgeous photos by Renata Steiner of Nataworry Photography!

Stylish, Photojournalistic Warsaw, Poland Wedding – Ola and Jacek

May 1, 2012 | editorial team

I love seeing wedding submissions arrive here from all around the world, and this wedding from Warsaw, Poland totally took my breath away! Its edgy and photojournalistic wedding photos by Lukasz Bak of Velvet Studio are different than what we generally showcase here on What Junebug Loves, but they so perfectly represent couple Ola and Jacek and the feeling and atmosphere of their wedding day that I simply had to publish them.
