Before summer wraps up for good, we’re excited to share another brightly colored wedding with you. Megan and Marcus planned a vintage-inspired barn wedding at Historic Taylor Barn and didn’t miss a single detail. The bride’s bohemian floral crown was elegantly draped in orange, pink, and ivory ribbon, which made for one gorgeous hair accessory. I love the consistency of the vintage fabric used throughout their day, from the streamer backdrop during their ceremony to the […]
Wedding Ideas: Best Wedding Photography
Industrial Brooklyn Loft Wedding
Lindsey and Sean’s Brooklyn loft wedding proves that industrial wedding venues bring the romance, while also showing off the couple’s modern vibes. Soft roses lined the tables, strings of bright bulbs hung overhead, and the bride and groom exchanged their vows beneath a chuppah delicately crafted with silk handed down from Lindsey’s grandfather. Photographer Therese Winberg was right there to capture the sweet laughter between the bride and groom, as well as the warmth shared by family […]

Woodland Wedding at Benmarl Winery, New York – Lydia and Andrew
Inspired by groom's last name, which translated means "House of Wood", Lydia and Andrew designed a woodland themed wedding at the Benmarl Winery in New York. The couple and their guests spent the day in a setting that was naturally gorgeous. From the floral arrangements of moss, ferns and wildflowers, to the ethereal fashion and the festive dancing, Richard Israel captured the day with timeless elegance.
Elegant Black and Gold Wedding in Wisconsin – Jayme and Nick
In classic black, white and gold, Jayme and Nick's wedding day was traditional but with a few fun twists! On the traditional side of things, we have adorable peplum dresses for the bridesmaids, polkadot and plaid bowties for the gents and beautiful architecture to backdrop the group portraits. And for the twists, there were matching TOMS shoes for the groomsmen, a fall inspired S'mores bar, and a toilet paper gun on the dance floor. Yes, you heard right and if you, like me, have no idea what that is, you'll just have to check out the modern and elegant photos of DWJohnson Studio to see for yourself.
