This wedding invitation stole my heart as soon as I saw it on Stephanie Williams’ blog. Wedding photographers Jodi and Kurt of Jodi Miller Photography are getting married and they knew they wanted to get super creative for their wedding invitations. I’d say they hit their mark!
“We knew our ideas were ambitious, but we wanted to somehow incorporate photography into our invitations, since photography is our career and passion. Everything we incorporated into our stop-motion film will be incorporated into our wedding, like the pie in the beginning, the chalkboard signs, the twine…even the backdrop we used. The entire process took as a full week to complete. We had to do so many outtakes, since we were challenged with so many different variables. We actually took all of the photos ourselves using a tripod and wireless remote, so every picture you see was taken by us. The film has about 600 images in total.“
Take a look at their sweet “slice of pie” stop motion video below…
and the gorgeous burlap and cameo invitation packaging they created from scratch as well…
Love it all – thanks for sharing Jodi and Kurt! Readers, see Jodi and Kurt’s own blog post about how they put all this wedding brilliance together.

I saw this video a while ago and loved it straight away. Can’t get over the creativity of some people! I didn’t see the actual invitations though. They deserve their own highlighting – they are so cute!
