I am trustworthy (just read my reviews), I'm able to capture the small moments, record the vows and speeches with clarity, edit a creative video with non-cheesy music, and ultimately make you cry happy tears.
How did you get your start in the wedding industry?
After my father retired in his 50's, he started his own wedding videography business in 2005. He invited me to help him film while I was in college. I eventually started to edit the videos and I got really passionate about it. So much so that I dropped out of college. I worked with my dad for a few more years during COVID, then he gave me the business in 2021.
Do you have a favorite wedding story or moment from your career?
Alexis & Moranu's Nigeran-American wedding. It was my favorite because I got to witness a different culture, traditions, outfits, food, and film some AWESOME dancing. I love experiencing cultures and people who are very different from me. It broadens my perspective on life and the world.
What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
Filming with my drone. I just love capturing an epic view of an epic wedding venue!
Also, editing the teaser film a day after the wedding. I love seeing my couples reaction!
What achievement, moment, or success are you most proud of in your career?
A couple flew me and my brother out to Aruba to film their wedding on the beach! Plus, it was our biggest video package ever sold. Of course, we stayed another 5 days to explore the island. Soo cool!
What is your favorite thing to do when not working?
Being outside - running, hiking, skateboarding, or just doing nothing at the beach. I also love hanging out with my church group, reading spiritual books, and praying.
