What is your specialty or personal style?

I lean into the cinematic documentary approach, working with a light footprint and a flow approach to all aspects of a wedding day and aim to create work that resonates with each couple. I enjoy big weddings as much as intimate celebrations and have specialised in Scottish elopements for many many years.

How did you get your start in the wedding industry?

I was a young editorial photographer (print journalism) and climber and I randomly got booked to shoot an elopement in Glencoe in 2006 (way before they were popular) It was a dream, to marry up my love of the outdoors and creating with loved up people in a stunning environment.

What aspect of your job never ceases to give you butterflies or make you excited?

Witnessing and documenting the real connection between couples, often it's the small moments that often go almost unseen that I love. I also get the full on flutters if Im working with a couple and the light or weather gifts us some magic!
