Chrisél was the perfect person to capture our wedding day! She photographed my sister's wedding a couple of years back and her friendly, calm and fun demeanor meant every photo she captured was happy and natural. So for us, it was a given! Chrisél captured our engagement and our wedding day with a sense of magic. She helped with our venue decisions and vendors; the day was everything we could have dreamed of. Chrisél was kind and passionate. She was excitable, she made us laugh and ultimately created magical moments that we can treasure forever. I could not recommend her more!

We could not have asked for a better photographer! She is the loveliest person to spend so much of our special wedding day with, making every picture so effortless and enjoyable & her results speak for themselves! Just wow, I picked her for her creative and artistic touch but never imagined the pictures would have turned out even more beautiful than I’d visioned! She is so lovely and so easy to work with, every picture taken feel like such a fun and easy process instead of just getting them “done” on the day - highly highly recommend!! Chrisél captured our wedding day exactly as it was meant to be. She has a wonderfully calming energy that not only on the day, but meetings pre the date, allows you to feel heard and seen. She captured our love on film and by the end of the day was one of the family. She is adventurous, captures truly candid pictures that allows you to relive the moments of a day that passes in a blur over and over again. We had really taken the time to choose a wedding planner, whose main focus was utilising the best available to us as a client, to ensure the quality of what we and our guests experienced would create beautiful and lasting memories. When it came time to look at photographers, she very quickly and without hesitation put Chrisel’s name forward to us, and told us that her work is stunning and that she is always amazed at the quality of her photography. We had trusted her thus far, and so without hesitation we signed to have Chrisel capture our big day. A week or so, prior to the wedding, Chrisel had requested a video call, to iron out final details and to get to know each other a little better. From the moment the call started we could tangibly feel her warmth and excitement towards us and our happy occasion. She made us both feel like long lost friends, listening to our story of how we met and what makes us ‘tick’, followed by the schedule for the wedding and what our thoughts and concerns were (if any). We both felt so much lighter after the chat because we knew she had really listened to us, and she had such clarity about what her vision was, so we felt it easy to just trust her and allow her to just get on with what she knows best. On the day of the wedding, she arrived with such energy and excitement for us, it seemed to calm and centre us and thereby allow us to take in and enjoy the moments as she captured them. She had come with such a plan in mind, we seemed to flow from place to place, so we never felt bored or stagnant. All of what we had asked for her to capture, she did, never needing prompting. Her finger never seemed to move from capturing a moment, and before we knew it…she was coming to hug us goodbye in the evening, leaving us only with a cheeky wink and promise that the images would be ready in due time. We were sent a few sample pics, which only fuelled our excitement of what was to come. Eventually the day came where she informed us they had been sent. We sat down together to have a look and… WOW! The quality, energy, movement and emotion that she managed to capture was inspired! We sat there speechless and in awe of how she had truly seen our wedding through her lens and in doing so, allowed us to relive those moments again. She is not just a talented photographer, she is an artist and now our friend. How blessed we feel to have had her capture our Big Day, in a way that gives life to the images so that we can enjoy them always. We could not recommend her more highly to anyone. She not only wants incredible images, but she is also the person behind the camera who sees you and makes you comfortable in the moment and reminds you to enjoy and take in all that is around you as she’ll capture the rest.
