What's not to love?! It began with being drawn to the style and sense of place in her photography. All of the examples we saw of her work were personalized and beautifully unique. Looking at each couple's photos it felt like she truly captured who they were as a pair and the environment they were in. No two galleries were the same. After we had our first phone consultation with Stephanie, there was no doubt in our minds that she was the person we wanted to capture all the moments of our special day. We had more than one moment where things didn't go as planned in our wedding journey (starting with the engagement shoot car troubles long before we even heard about Covid). Yet even in the moments of turmoil and change Stephanie was right there with us making a plan. Not only did she help us adapt and pivot, she captured the beautifully imperfect moments in between that we'll cherish forever. Stephanie was so incredible in every way. That may sound hyperbolic but she was honest, flexible, loyal and took so many amazing photos of our day it's hard to believe there was just one of her. We ended up working with Stephanie for 2 years longer than initially intended, and still aren't ready to say goodbye. We already have plans to make our way to Iceland for an anniversary shoot because we know she can capture our love and personalities in such a special way.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Kaja! Truly, having her photograph such a special moment for us was an experience in and of itself. She has an awesome sense of adventure and really put us at ease in a situation that was unique for us (we don't have professional photos done every day!) The end result was gorgeous and we're very thankful for her work. We wholeheartedly recommend her!
