Emily and Evan envisioned a rustic and laid-back wedding and it’s safe to say they nailed it! The couple settled on a black, ivory, and gold color palette with touches of natural greenery. On the day of their wedding, there was nothing but sunny, cloudless skies in Nashville, and Emily and Evan were all smiles as Madi Flournoy Photography captured the day on film!

Evan and I are both very laid back people so I knew we needed something that fits that style. The vibe was casually romantic and with the venue’s historic, rustic look, it worked perfectly and looked beautiful.

Historic Cedarwood is beautiful and absolutely stunning. It also caters to your every need. I would choose them every day of the week! Cedarwood Weddings made that possible by taking my thoughts for the day and making sure everything was taken care of from top to bottom for every single detail. I didn’t have to worry about anything and the day was a dream!

The most memorable part of the day for me was leaving the ceremony with my hands locked in my new husbands’. I was the happiest girl in the world at that moment. Nothing can replace that feeling!

I would suggest hiring a wedding planner – specifically a venue that plans the wedding. Don’t let the stress of making sure everything is perfect ruin your experience. It’s supposed to be a special time! Also, get an awesome photographer so you can enjoy those moments for the rest of your life.
