Sun and Moon Jars to Decorate an Outdoor Wedding
I ran across these fun, solar powered Sun and Moon Jars from Uncommon Goods yesterday, and I can just picture them scattered around a rustic outdoor wedding reception once the sun has gone down. You leave the jars open in the sunlight to power up and then seal them tight for a glow that lasts for hours. After the wedding they would be great as yard or porch decorations, night-lights, or lining a living room windowsill as an alternative to candles. I don’t know about you, but here is Seattle we could always use a little extra sunshine! I may have to get a few for myself!

This raw silk “Rumi” clutch with crystal and glass accents was one of my recent picks for beautiful vintage inspired accessories, but with those strong geometric angles and delicate detailing I think it would probably look gorgeous with any style wedding dress. Every bride needs a few essentials on hand throughout her wedding day, but how do you decide exactly what those things should be? We want to hear your plans. What would you put inside this lovely clutch and keep near you on your wedding day? It’s nicely roomy at 11.5″ x 5″ x 1.5″, so you can really fill ‘er up.
