Mammoth Men 4- The guys are at it again!

March 9, 2009 | editorial team

Yep, that’s right, the manliness (and silliness) that is Mammoth Men is back in full effect!

The 4th Mammoth Men Tour, wedding photography dudes on the road!

The 4th Mammoth Men installment is taking place as we speak in Park City Utah, on the slopes and in the snow, and I’m guessing it will be bigger and better than ever! These 12 super talented wedding and portrait photographers (including Junebug member Sean Flanigan and a few soon to be SoCal Junebug members, Hi guys!) will be tackling adventures chosen daily by their blog readers and photographing the action every step of the way. Visit MammothMen.com to follow along, help them choose their next expedition, laugh your head off at their antics and their “awesomeness”, and see some seriously stellar images. We just can’t help it, we love these boys!

And now back to something far, far girlier…

Wedding Ribbons and Bows!

March 9, 2009 | editorial team

Image by Mel Barlow Photography, bow backed white wedding shoes

I simply can’t resist the charm of a classic bow. On the backs of shoes, the fronts of dresses, the top of a head, or the ring finger of a left hand, they add a sweet and feminine touch that will never go out of style.

Laura Hooper Calligraphy and Lucky Orchid Invitations

March 6, 2009 | editorial team

Most wedding blog followers will be familiar with the gorgeous hand calligraphy work of Laura Hooper, and the fun canvas city totes she recently released, but how well do you know her invitation line, Lucky Orchid Invitations? They are a delight! I love the pink chandelier design and her delicate use of colors and fonts.

Laura also has the most ideas for creative place cards that I’ve seen in ages. Who knew you could hand letter sand dollars, compasses, ginko leaves and Spanish tiles? Nice! What incredible decor details as well as thoughtful wedding favors. Check out Laura’s website, blog and Etsy shop for all the info and eye candy.
