Based on a sweet family tradition of creating custom wines for each of his own daughters’ weddings, winemaker Clark Swanson of Swanson Vineyards has released a Just Married wine available to all of us, that’s as delicious as it is adorable. (I can vouch for this statement personally – Swanson Vineyards generously sent us samples, and the Junebug team ooh-ed and ahh-ed over the bottles and then made short work of them!) Aside from being lovely to drink, the wine’s Just Married label could make this a perfect choice to serve during your wedding reception and cocktail hour, along with the other wines within the series with labels like “Mazel Tov,” “Merci,” “Thrilled for You” and “With Love”. And if you have wine lovers in your life, a single bottle or one of Swanson’s creative gift packs could make really thoughtful thank you gifts or wedding presents as well. Check out their website for more information and the full story behind the wine itself. Cheers!
As I was working on today’s blog post, all I could think of was the color combination of peach, pink and coral. So I started gathering photos from our Image Gallery and delighting in the warmth and femininity of the tones in front of me. And then I had a little moment of déjà vu, and then a couple more, and then I went back and looked in my own archives. Sure enough, right around this same time last year as I was yearning for warmer weather, I had created the exact same wedding inspiration board! Pink, coral and peach. Embarrassing? Yes. Too embarrassing not to publish this wedding color palette again? No way. You simply can’t go wrong with these beautiful tones, so here my friends are the colors that I apparently dream about each spring. Enjoy!

What three adjectives that best describe your wedding? Romantic, vintage, elegant
What inspired your personal wedding style, and how did you incorporate your style and personalities into your big day? While browsing blogs (like Junebug!) and magazines, what called out to me the most were the vintage and romantic themed weddings. I also wanted our wedding to be outdoors for guests to experience the great southern California summer weather. This inspired me to DIY a lot of small and subtle details (lace wrapped votive candles, vintage sheet music for the candles and rose petal cones, personalized water bottle labels, tissue paper pomanders, flower monograms, etc.). In the end I wanted our wedding to look simple yet elegant.
Looking back, what are the moments, decisions or memories that you love the most about your wedding? There are so many to name! Our favorite moments included our first look – it was nice to have a moment together before the ceremony and it calmed our nerves. It was also fun to see our loved ones feverishly wave the DIY streamers that my husband and I made. In fact, all our DIY stuff was worth it. I admit it got stressful sometimes making it, but to see everything on display at the wedding was very satisfying. Lastly, it was amazing to have all our friends and family come together to celebrate with us.
