Last week I posted photos of the beautiful wedding dresses from Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2012 bridal collection, but here today we have the documentary images from the show that my amazing photographers Merri Cyr and Mark Walker shot, to give you more of a behind the scenes feel! Monique’s show was at the big, open, almost industrial feeling Cedar Lake Dance Center which allowed for a creative arrangement of the seating and runway. The whole back wall was draped in a delicate floral mural and the other walls were exposed brick – a fantastic juxtaposition of feminine and modern, just like the Monique Lhuillier designs. And the dresses, oh those dresses! They were delightful as usual! Enjoy!

Roche Harbor Resort’s service is unparalleled and unpretentious, and the feeling of being on a closely knit island spills over into every experience you have there. It’s the oldest operating hotel in the state of Washington, and the second oldest business, so historic charm abounds every where you look in this seaside village. Often called a “natural playground,” there is no end to the beauty of the surrounding landscape or the opportunities for fun! You can swim in their outdoor heated pool, rent mopeds, hike trails, roast marshmallows in one of the many fireplaces or fire pits, or spend time on the water discovering the vast community of local sea lions, otters, and whales!
Roche Harbor Resort is ideal for destination wedding celebrations because they have ample accommodations and activities of all kinds for your guests. They offer unique ceremony and reception spaces, amazingly personalized service, and catering that’s out of this world.

Bridal Market – Behind the Scenes at the Fall 2012 Christos, Kenneth Pool and Amsale Fashion Shows
It’s part two of our behind the scenes coverage of the Fall 2011 Bridal Market, photographed by Merri Cyr Weddings, and today it’s all about the powerhouse trio of Christos, Kenneth Pool and Amsale. Each of these collections is designed by Amsale Aberra, and each represent a different fashion focus while still maintaining Amsale’s current yet timeless viewpoint. Christos is all about tradition and heirloom quality gowns, Kenneth Pool embraces the glamour and fantasy in wedding fashion, and Amsale is the epitome of modern bridal. The three fashion shows all take place at the ultra mod and spare EZ Studios, and they progress throughout the day in an abundance of fun and wonderfully inspirational style!
