Bridal Style Inspiration: Austin Bridal Session

September 10, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

Today, we are celebrating both gorgeous bridal style and one of the best cities in the world, Austin, Texas. Brittni’s Austin bridal session was held at some of our favorite landmarks, including Town Lake and Rainey Street. Everything from the eclectic Lustre Pearl venue, with its distressed aqua walls, to the bride’s darling gown was captured flawlessly by Studio Uma.

Part One: Traditional Thai Wedding

September 10, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

traditional Thai wedding attire

Jo and Bo’s traditional Thai wedding ceremony was a vivid and culturally rich celebration. The first half of their two-day wedding was adorned with gold and intricate beauty, yet delivered in a down-to-earth atmosphere. Nordica Photography photographed the traditional wedding’s contagious energy and vibrant heritage with talent.

The Couple: Jo and Bo

The Wedding: Private Residence, Bangkok, Thailand

The Inspiration: We both have family that live abroad, so our big days were a reunion for both sides of our family. Our traditional Thai ceremony was held at my parents’ house near Bangkok. The house has beautiful grass and lawn features. We wanted to incorporate the natural beauty of the house with a homey feeling so we had a “brunch in the garden” theme. We both wore traditional attire. The colors used were of green, ivory, and light grey. Of course, since it was a traditional Thai ceremony, there was lots of gold as well!

Sultry Ballet Inspired Boudoir Photo Shoot

September 9, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

We love celebrating the female body here at Junebug, and this ballet inspired boudoir shoot from Ash Imagery does exactly that. The delicate light filtering across this ballerina’s strong, feminine silhouette shows the photographer’s love and understanding of boudoir photography. Not only is the bride embracing her sexuality in this shoot, but she is also owning her dancer identity, which is just beautiful. Enjoy!
