Rustic Italian Destination Wedding

September 29, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

stunning couple's portrait with golden light

Shanna and Daniel’s rustic Italian destination wedding captured the oh-so-romantic atmosphere of Italy flawlessly. We can’t get enough of the stunning couple’s portraits over the lush, rolling landscape of Italy, as well as the adorable light blue vintage car used for transportation to the reception. Jules Bower‘s artistic eye turned the gorgeous day into a collection of magical photographs to forever cherish.

The Couple: Shanna-Marie and Daniel

The Wedding: Santi Leonardo e Cristoforo, Terre Di Nano, Pienza, Italy

The Inspiration: As our wedding was in Italy our wedding theme was ‘rustic romance’. The main colours were blush pink, sage green and soft ivory. We didn’t want anything to be too perfect or manicured. We wanted the flowers to look free, natural and blooming and the peonies and roses we chose worked perfectly for this. We had wooden tables with lace runners and lots of candles and mismatched silver vases. We had beautiful twinkling lights in the trees which were magical in the evening. We wanted the whole thing to feel like an intimate family meal under the stars.

The Couple Recommends: We would definitely recommend our wedding photographer Jules Bower. Not only does he produce outstanding photographs but he is professional, friendly and very easy to work with. We are absolutely delighted with our wedding photos and are so happy we found him. All our friends have said the pictures really do show how magical the day was and how all the special moments were captured perfectly.

Vibrant Moroccan Destination Wedding

September 29, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

Moroccan destination wedding couple's portrait

Emma and Mike’s vibrant Morcoccan destination wedding was an exotic and romantic celebration, captured beautifully by Marshal Gray Photography. From the bride’s bohemian wedding dress with lace cut-outs and beautiful flowers to the exciting fire performers at the reception, the couple’s lively wedding is surely inspiring.

The Couple: Emma and Mike

The Wedding: Taj Villa Marrakech, Marraheck, Morocco

The Inspiration: In a word, relaxed. Together we decided to keep our wedding relaxed and informal. No ties, no veils and no fuss. Obviously being in Marrakech there’s a certain amount of Moroccan and Arabic influence to our décor, but the surroundings and the people provided most of the theme.

Elegantly Personalized Wedding in New York

September 28, 2014 | Junebug Weddings

Shu-and-Ed-Brian-Dorsey-Brilliant-Event-Planning-Junebug-Weddings-6

Everything about Shu & Ed’s wedding seemed so flawlessly put together. From the perfectly drawn chalkboard signage to Shu’s graceful gown, nothing was out of place as every second of the wedding was beautifully coordinated and designed by Brilliant Event Planning. The couple even hired a live painter during their reception to capture the magic of the night. Sit back, relax, and enjoy Shu & Ed’s elegantly personalized wedding, I promise it will make you believe in a stress-free wedding (if such a thing existed).

The Couple: Shu & Ed

The Wedding: Garrison, New York

The Inspiration: “We wanted to keep our wedding decor simple and classic with small pops of color. We also wanted to incorporate some personalized details that represented our relationship. Sarah really brought it to life with our table signs, escort cards, and other special touches. As for fashion, my dress was the first dress I tried on and I knew right away that it was the perfect one for me. I always knew that I wanted a dress that wasn’t strapless. I loved the combination of a clean silhouette with great shoulder details. Ed definitely knew he wanted a tux that was different than the traditional black and he ended up choosing a custom midnight blue tux.”

The Moments: “Shu: My favorite moment was actually during cocktail hour when Ed and I had a few minutes alone in the dressing room with no cameras, guests, or wedding day crew. It gave us a chance to catch up on the day and just relax in each other’s company.”
