With bridal fashion week underway in New York, we wanted to share some bridal style inspiration from a few of our favorite Junebug brides. From tulle to lace, sequins to beading, mermaid to ballgown, your wedding dress should show off your personal style while turning the volume all the way up for your big day. Most of all, you should feel beautiful in your gown from the moment you make your way down the aisle all the way until your farewell at the end of the night.
All Junebug brides are stunning, and finding the right dress completes their perfect day. For more bridal style inspiration, you don’t want to miss the Junebug 2014 Fall Fashion Forecast.
One of the best parts about planning a fall wedding is the color scheme: emerald green, burnt orange, fiery red, and burgundy. Fortunately, these colors don’t have to stop at your centerpieces and floral design. Using a fall color palette for your wedding day makeup is a unique way to incorporate autumnal shades into your personal look. Plus, how stunning is the contrast between the dramatic lip and a white dress?
Today we’re bringing you inspiration on how to rock dark lips for fall. Whether your bridal style is vintage, bohemian, eclectic, or classic, a dark lip color can take your wedding day look to the next level.
The spectrum of dark lips ranges from coral-rouge to deep, almost-brown burgundy. See more inspiration for dark lips for fall from the beautiful bride in this glamorous Canadian wedding photographed by Gabe McClintock.
Christopher F Photography shared with us a beautiful couple and a truly unique venue in this Kitchen Chicago wedding. Though Julia and Mike tied the knot in a traditional church, they went industrial for their reception by holding the event at Kitchen Chicago, a shared kitchen space in the city. Julia enlisted the talents of Chicago Vintage Weddings and Merci Beaucoup Floral to bring in soft, romantic elements to the reception space. Julia’s vision paid off, because their wedding is simply stunning.
The Moments: “The ceremony ended up being our favorite part of the day because we both felt as if we were the only two people there and all the guests and wedding planning stress leading up to the moment just seemed to disappear while we pledge our vows.”
The Inspiration: “I knew our wedding would be an urban affair when we found our industrial loft space in downtown Chicago, but I wanted to soften it up a bit. After I fell in love with a vintage-inspired lace dress, I decided to incorporate a lot of vintage style with a warm romantic color palette of mint, peach, and rose gold. My vision was brought to life by the antique vintage rentals from Chicago Vintage Weddings and the stunning floral arrangements from Merci Beaucoup Floral. Both were able to bring my Pinterest boards to life!
The Couple Recommends: “Our photographer, Christopher Foltz, went above and beyond his role as a photographer and was an integral part in making our wedding day a success. His presence felt like a friend helping us out on our wedding day rather than a professional. Chris is an extremely talented photographer with an eye for light and capturing raw emotions. We also appreciated his calm demeanor, his sense of humor, and even his surprising expertise in bustling my dress with a pair of pliers!”
We’re so happy Christopher F Photography shared this wedding with Junebug! For more of the Chicago skyline, Lindsay and Kyle’s summer engagement session is sure to inspire.
