Nathalie and Christopher wanted their day to reflect the culture of their family, and their traditional Cornish countryside wedding did exactly that. Photographer Ann-Kathrin Koch was joined by a team of local Cornish professionals to ensure that every moment of Nathalie and Christoher’s affair was full of beauty and light. From the traditional church ceremony to the waterfront portraits to the reception where the couple danced the night away, the wedding was true to Nathalie and Christopher’s relationship with each other and their loved ones.
The Couple: Nathalie and Christopher
The Wedding: Cornwall, England
The Moments: “Seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle – knowing that this was the start of a fantastic adventure!”
The Inspiration: “Traditional English countryside – with a Cornish twist. Being from a proud Cornish family it was important to reflect these roots in the theme. For example: the table names were the names of Cornish tin mines; the primary image for the invitations and orders of service was of an embossed silhouette of a tin mine; it was essential to have all of the food locally sourced (including late night Cornish pasties); and with the notable exceptions of our photographer Ann-Kathrin Koch, all of our suppliers were from the Cornish region also.”
The Couple Recommends: “Ann-Kathrin Koch was absolutely fantastic and her photos are beautiful. Philleigh Way were also brilliant and their wedding hampers were incredibly unique and delicious!”
