Many of our recent weddings have included unique natural elements, so today we’re sharing some earthy decoration inspiration for your special day. Natural accents are a good fit for bohemian weddings, woodsy events, and mountain affairs. Trees can be used in a variety of ways to decorate your wedding, from freshly-cut place-card holders to tree slice cake stands. We love the idea of hanging branches from the ceiling with lights intertwined. For a softer look, create a delicate flower backdrop out of ombré blooms in your wedding color palette.
Getting back to your roots just feels good, so incorporate organic pieces into your wedding décor this coming season. For more earthy decoration inspiration for your wedding, you have to see the DIY wooden alter from Kim and Travis’ quirky British Columbia mountain wedding.
Southern weddings have a charm and elegance unlike any other. Lindsay and Drew’s enchanting Southern wedding in Georgia combined rustic elements like burlap and mason jars with sweet, feminine details like lace and shades of coral. Tessa Marie, an outstanding talent hailing from Georgia, captured all of the tender moments and carefully curated details, all through the lighthearted lens so associated with the South.
The Inspiration: “Our wedding theme was rustic, but elegant. Since our wedding was in the south, I wanted it to have a country feel. I love the mason jars, burlap and lace, but also wanted it feel formal at the same time. I believe we had a good mix and really accomplished that. We also incorporated peaches, because what’s more Georgia than a peach!”

The Moments: “There are so many favorite moments! I loved getting ready with the girls, the first look was so memorable, and of course the ceremony and reception were everything we dreamed of. It was such a perfect night, surrounded by all the people we love. The speeches by our family members were pretty incredible too!”
The Couple Recommends: “Our photographer, Tessa Marie, and videographer, Bubba Fulcher, were incredible! They showed up early, were the hardest working people there, and did a phenomenal job! They went above and beyond to make sure they were getting the best shots and made sure to capture the all the special moments of the day. They were a pleasure to work with, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.”
