The tropical setting of Hacienda Fizebad increased the romance of Vivian and Fernando’s traditional wedding in Colombia with its lush greenery, blooming gardens, and intimate hideaways for the newlyweds to spend a few moments together after exchanging their vows. The bride’s gorgeous ballgown and delicate tiara made her look like a princess on her wedding day, and Fernando’s sharp black tux was princely as can be.

The Inspiration:

We wanted to go for romantic and timeless. Our winter wedding featured white orchids, gardenias, and roses. We found Hacienda Fizebad held the perfect balance of elegance and rustic charm as it was an immaculate backdrop for the fairy tale wedding we envisioned. Aside from the fact that it was a truly beautiful venue, I wanted to compliment the natural color palette of the mountains: rich creams, touches of green, and dark browns. We tried to pay attention to every little detail and I can honestly say I had my dream wedding come true.

The Moments:

Other than professing our love to each another by saying our “I do’s,” what we remember most from our wedding day is the joy and love from our family. People from so many aspects of our lives gathered together in a fairy tale setting to celebrate our long love, and we felt like the luckiest people in the world.
