Tiffany blue accents, a ballgown fit for a princess, and the prettiest pink bouquet made Lauren and Stephen’s wedding truly an elegant day to remember. After a traditional church ceremony and a quick romp around Winnipeg, the celebration continued at Fort Garry Hotel where the couple danced the night away. We wanted simple yet unique for the room of the dinner and dance. The Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg is gorgeous on its own, so we didn’t to add too much that would take away from the simple beauty and elegance that is already there. That being said, we wanted to make it our own! The centerpieces were inspired by Stephen’s love of woodworking. He cut down a tree at my family’s cabin and created wood medallions for the base of the floral centerpiece which was arranged of simple white flowers wrapped in a Tiffany blue ribbon. Tiffany blue candles floated in small vases, with white table cloths & Tiffany blue chiffon table runners.

We wanted our wedding to be laid back and fun. We are both from Italian families so we used this as the theme without getting our friends and families to fly to Italy! We had Italian traditions and food and we chose every part ourselves and put together the Italian favours and invites. We instantly new the colour theme of grey, soft pinks and peach. The bridesmaids picked their own dresses as did the guys. My dress was the first one I tried on and fulfilled my criteria of “can I dance and eat in it???”

Walking into the reception room to ‘That’s Amore’ by Dean Martin playing full blast! everyone was on their feet swaying and singing out loud! we didn’t sit down till it finished! it was a real goosebumps, fun filled, unforgettable moment!
