A gorgeous, classic wedding in a richly cultured, urban city leaves Trevor and Alexis with absolutely stunning wedding photos. The bridesmaids wore simple black gowns, which allowed all eyes to be focused on the honored couple. They looked classically elegant with his royal blue tux and her white laced gown. With unique willow trees, Audubon Park in New Orleans, Louisiana was the perfect place for their romantic ceremony. On their way to the classic New Orleans reception at House of Blues, the couple and wedding party participated in a Second Line Parade, which included an awesome brass band. Documenting memories that will last a lifetime, photographer Jesse David Green captured the couple on their big day!

The Moments:

Second-line through the French Quarter takes the cake. The ceremony and dinner were over and a brass band paraded us to the bar for dancing. Trevor and I danced in front of our family and friends the whole way and we were sweaty messes by the time we had arrived, but we had never been happier in our lives.

The Couple Recommends:

Jesse was the absolute best. He really gets to know you and your wedding pictures feel personal instead of the same old pictures that everyone has. Also, having people in your bridal suite is a really intimate thing (which I hadn’t even considered) so you want to like your photographer (not a problem for us because we love Jesse). All of my friends wanted to use him for their weddings afterwards. ATTB was so good. Not at all cheesy and nailed every song. They’re also part of the party and not just a cover band going through the motions. Mint Julep Productions really pulled the whole day together. I really procrastinated on a lot of stuff (slash had not thought about it at all). I contacted MJP pretty late in the game and they worked wonders and, most importantly, kept their cool (and made everyone else keep their cool) when things were not working out (e.g. intense heat for rehearsal, raining on wedding day, traffic jam and late for dinner, late for second-line and they almost left, etc. etc.). They did such a great job we didn’t even notice anything.

Southwestern Inspired Springs Preserve Wedding

Mexican paper flowers, a mariachi band, and bright, festive florals made Amy and Justin’s Springs Preserve wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada a Southwestern fiesta to remember. With the help of Scheme Events, this fun couple had an extraordinary Southwestern styled wedding that included Aztec designed cakes at their awesome dessert table! And there to capture it all, Adam Trujillo photographed the precious moments spent on the big day!

The Couple:

Amy and Justin

The Wedding:

Springs Preserve, Las Vegas, Nevada

The Inspiration:

Once we had decided on the Springs Preserve as our venue, we wanted to embrace the natural environment as part of our inspiration. Therefore, the southwestern motif felt natural with the desert and cactus ambiance. After selecting the theme, our wedding planner really brought all the details to life with the flowers, ceremony and reception decor. As for fashion, we wanted to stay away from anything typical. We let the wedding party select their colors within a certain range while we searched for attire that reflected the personality of each individual.

The Moments:

Justin: My favorite moment was standing at the alter, watching my friends, family and bride walk down the aisle. Amy‘s display of emotion and joy will forever be etched into my memories.

Amy: My favorite moment was right after the wedding. Justin could see how I was overwhelmed with emotion and wasn’t ready to face my guests. He took me over to a secluded area to sit and take in the moment before going to the cocktail hour. Unbeknownst to us, the photographer captured this moment and those pictures hold a special place in their hearts.

Venue – Springs Preserve
Floral Design – Layers of Lovely

Bohemian Botanical Inspired Missouri Wedding

August 15, 2015 | Junebug Weddings

Bohemian-Botanical-Inspired-Missouri-Wedding (35 of 43)

Nature played a big role in Alexa and Tyler’s romantic Missouri wedding. Unique florals, vintage vases, and fruit covered the tables at their outdoor reception. The natural, golden sunlight surrounded the day, creating an enchanting atmosphere. We love the bride’s bohemian headpiece, which was made from wild plants and bright florals. Talented photographer Katelyn Shanice stole the couple away from the crowd for a bit to capture sweet and intimate moments of just them two.

The Couple:

Alexa and Tyler

The Wedding:

Private Residence, Doniphan, Missouri

The Inspiration:

The inspiration for our wedding was very natural to us. Our daily style comes from a variety of the minimal and bohemian aspects of the 60’s and 70’s. With that incorporated, our florists and decoraters drew influence from the vintage botanical art, and I let them run with that.

The Moments:

My favorite moment was near the end of the night, when the sun was setting, and we walked away for a second with our photographer by the water and just held one another. It was our moment to reminisce, and I just remember thinking “wow, you’re mine.”

The Couple Recommends:

Our photographer, Katelyn Shanice, captured our day so beautifully. Her calm nature was incredible in the midst of the chaos of weddings. I am overjoyed every time I look at our photos.
