Breathtaking Iceland Honeymoon Photo Shoot

After a beautiful wedding on Vancouver Island, photographer Sara Rogers joined newlyweds Disa and Russell on their honeymoon in Iceland to capture part two of the love story. Iceland, Disa’s homeland, has been a popular destination for couples and photographers alike, but the couple’s familiarity with the lush green fields and black sand beaches took this honeymoon photo shoot above and beyond. We love that the couple wore their wedding attire for these images, because we can’t get enough of Disa’s sequin David’s Bridal gown

Multicultural Austin Wedding at The Allan House

After a purely Indian rehearsal dinner, Imtiaz and Arlem opted for an American-style wedding at The Allan House to tie the knot and celebrate with loved ones. The multicultural affair designed by Life Styled Events included traditional elements like the bride’s customary wedding henna, as well as elegant and modern Austin wedding styling like twinkle lights and a stunning Reem Acra gown. Mercedes Morgan Photography captured the gorgeous details and romantic moments that Imtiaz and Arlem will forever remember from their big day.

We wanted to incorporate both cultures for our wedding. We opted for doing our rehearsal dinner Indian and the wedding itself American.

We had so many favorite moments! I’d have to say that our walking down the aisle as husband and wife, seeing all the pretty faces look back at us was pretty special, our Mehendi ceremony was pretty fun too!

Elegant Farm Wedding in Iowa

Morgan and Chris’ wedding in Iowa was full of sentimental elements, most notably the venue: the groom’s family farm where so many special moments from the couple’s relationship took place. With so much nostalgia abound, it’s no wonder these wedding images by Amanda Basteen Photography are impossibly romantic. From their first look on a pier to their sunset portraits on the farm, the Morgan and Chris simply glowed with newlywed bliss!

We wanted to keep it simple and elegant. Chris‘ family farm has been a special place for us throughout our relationship — it is a place we feel the most connected with our Heavenly Father. We wanted to share this special place with our family and friends.

The Moments:

Our favorite moment from the wedding was the first look. I will never forget walking out to the dock, waiting for him to turn around and see me for the first time. I just kept thanking God for this moment and giving me this wonderful man to be my husband.
