Just when we thought we’d seen everything, Elizabeth and Aaron’s Houston Museum of Natural Science wedding made our hearts all a-flutter! The couple said “I do” in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest loved ones and hundreds of the world’s most beautiful butterflies in the Cockrell Butterfly Center. If that’s not romance, we don’t know what is! Ama Photography and Cinema captured dreamy portraits of the newlyweds among the lush nature of the museum, where Elizabeth and Aaron danced and twirled in the greenery and golden light.

The Inspiration:
We wanted a small, fabulous wedding with a cool venue and great food. We wanted to remember having conversations with our closets family members and enjoy a killer dinner with them all. We ended up choosing to get married at the Houston Museum of Natural Science Butterfly Exhibit; we are both kind of animal/science nerds and have grown up going to this museum so it had a true sentimental touch to it. My dress was flowy and fun and made me feel erethereal! Aaron looked so sharp in his 3-piece suit. It was the perfect amount of “fancy” for us! For dinner, we chose Brennans of Houston, a restaurant that my fabulous Grandma Harkey introduced to me. Their Bananas Foster is so amazing we didn’t even need a wedding cake!
The Moments:
THE KISS! It was like we were in our own little world, but instead we got to share it with the most important people in our lives! Happiest day of my life :)
