Rebecca and Reid’s Canadian elopement at Lake Louise is filled with natural eye candy only Banff National Park can provide. Luckily, the pair enlisted the help of My Canvas Media to capture every epic view and incredible moment. Rebecca and Reid made the last-minute decision to invite their family along for the ceremony, but a little highway traffic delayed them. In the meantime, the couple shared an unforgettable first look beside the icy blue lake, just the two of them and the breathtaking surroundings.
The Couple:
Rebecca and Reid
The Wedding:
Lake Louise, Banff, Alberta

Reid and I planned on eloping, just the two of us, but made a last minute decision to invite our parents and siblings with just 24 hours notice. With family being from out of town, they flew in the morning of the wedding and then had to drive to Lake Louise. Due to highway traffic, our family and the officiant were almost two hours late which gave Reid and I some time together for a very special first look — I think that was one of my favorite moments. The look on his face when he first saw me is something I will never forget.

For our wedding, we wanted to keep things simple, intimate, and natural. We complemented the natural beauty of Lake Louise with natural colors, soft fabrics and simple lines. It was important to both of us that we were comfortable and were able to walk/explore around the lake.
