Surf’s up! This Manset, Maine beach wedding inspiration is is perfect for brides and grooms looking for a casual, laid-back elopement. Erin Wheat Photography teamed up with Sassafrass Catering to create the bohemian wooden tapestry fort and a tropical feast built for two. Vanessa looked absolutely stunning in her Freeheart Project dress, and Liam looked quite himself in his H&M apparel, too. The day was full of surf, love, and fun, and we think this non-traditional wedding inspiration is perfect for couples looking for a ceremony matching the tone the lives they have built together.
The Tudor Arms Hotel was the perfect place for Rachelle and Patrick to celebrate their Cleveland wedding. The couple wanted to blend elegant vintage vibes with handmade charm, and the result was nothing short of fabulous! After the ceremony, the couple enjoyed a night of celebrating with their friends and family, and The Carrs Photography was there snapping pictures of all the fun. The homemade decorations paired with the elegance of the hotel made for a swoon-worthy wedding that we’re sure Rachelle and Patrick will never forget!
Before the ceremony, Pat gave me an unexpected present – he had saved 10 years of our relationship in the form of ticket stubs. He matted those to a white picture frame, which now holds one of our favorite wedding pictures. It was the sweetest thing because I had no idea he was saving them. I cried!
My mom picked out my dress while shopping in Chicago at Mira Couture – it was the third one I tried on! It had beautiful handmade Spanish lace and just enough sparkle giving it some vintage glamour. The lace fringe details at the bottom were my absolute favorite part.
Pat went with a tailored blue three-piece suite and Cole Haan shoes with leathering detail. He also had a white pocket square with his initials stitched on and blue-gray spotted socks from J. Crew that added some personality.
For our wedding vibe, we strived to blend elegant vintage vibes with handmade charm – primarily inspired by our venues. Although our wedding venues were very formal, we wanted to inject some down-to-earth details, including DIY, handwritten signage and hand-painted calligraphy on travertine tiles as place settings.
One of our favorite parts was walking into the reception and being greeted by our amazing friends and family. Our hearts were so full, and their presence so genuine.
