The weather may have been dark and dreary on the day of Natalie and Thomas’s engagement photo shoot, but the genuine love and compassion that Natalie and Thomas have for one another brought a special warmth and brightness to an otherwise gray and stormy day at Royal Palms Beach Park. Nicola Harger Photography captured some seriously sweet moments between the newly engaged couple, and the gray skies made for some gorgeous portraits of the crashing waves and waterfront views.

When planning your wedding, it’s never a bad idea to stick with a classic and timeless vibe, and that’s exactly what Krissy and Chuck’s friends and families got to enjoy at their wedding reception at The Toledo Club. Before dancing the night away at the spectacular evening of celebration, the couple said “I do” at the Historic Church of Saint Patrick, the very same church that Krissy’s parents were married in. Derk’s Works captured some truly breathtaking photos of the couple on their big day, from their private first look to the sparkler send-off.
My wedding dress was custom designed by Tony Ward. I absolutely loved the illusion neckline. However, my favorite thing about my dress was the removable tulle train. Between the cathedral veil and the extra train, my ceremony look was dramatic and elegant. And then for the reception I removed the train and veil and was ready to dance. Then even later, when the real dancing began, I changed into an all gold sequin party dress, and was ready to hit the dance floor.
Our photographer was the absolute best! Everyone raved about him! He captured every single important moment. He was fearless and flexible, and he was ready to work around any obstacles. My favorite part was that he managed to keep all guests and wedding party members away from our first look. Our first look was so natural and comfortable, and the pictures turned out just wonderful.
I let my bridesmaids pick their own dresses, and I encouraged sparkle gold looks. My sisters wore white to stand out as maids of honor. I just wanted everyone to look and feel like movie stars.
It is with great excitement that we’re sharing world-renowned bridal designer Anna Campbell‘s wedding at Anderson’s Mill with you today! When a dress designer says “I do,” you expect nothing less than fabulous, and between Anna’s four unbelievable vintage-inspired gowns and the most incredible venue styling, we’d say the bride truly exceeded everyone’s expectations. Aside from the dazzling crystals, pretty petals, and delectable dessert spread (that cake!), what really stole our hearts are moments shared between Anna and her groom Murray, as the pair laughed, kissed, and couldn’t take their eyes off each other throughout the day.
While four dresses might seem like a lot, for me one was just not enough! The day is made up of so many different moments, I wanted to ensure I had the perfect dress, with just the right amount of lace or sparkle, for each part of the day.
My first dress was worn to our first look at Lavandula, a beautiful Swiss Lavender farm, with sweeping lavender fields. I wanted a free-moving dress that flowed beautifully, but that was still sparkly and special enough to be the first dress Murray saw me in.
Walking down the aisle was the moment I had always dreamt of, and I wanted to be wearing something truly incredible and sparkly, so I created my ceremony dress with thousands of shimmering beads. Knowing how the dress would sparkle under the vintage lights of the barn, I couldn’t resist being embellished head to toe!
My third dress, worn upon arrival at the reception and for our sunset photos, was very fitted and intricately beaded, with gorgeous off the shoulder tulle sleeves. Although I was nervous to wear the fitted, mermaid shape, it created the most incredible silhouette, and it ended up being my and Murray’s favourite!
The final dress was always designed to be my party dress! It was very simple, made of a soft Japanese lace, with an embellished belt detail. It was so much lighter than all of the other dresses, and so fun to dance in!
